DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #248: Painted Harvest Sunflower Seeds Treat Pouch

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Color My World" challenge.
I had to think a little bit with this week's color combo on how to tie it into the Painted Autumn Suite Week. As the colors are very Halloweeny (if that's a word?), I thought maybe a treat pouch of some kind would do the trick (or treat - ha!). Here's what I came up with using the Painted Harvest Bundle..
Sunflower Seeds Treat Pouch
- Stamp sunflower images (from Painted Harvest stamp set) on Very Vanilla scrap with the following inks
- Pumpkin Pie = large flower
- Cajun Craze = small flower
- Memento Tuxedo Black = flower center & dots (multiple times)
- Use Paper Snips to cut out
- Cut 2-1/2" off 2" x 8" Cellophane Bag. Fill with sunflower seeds. Fold bag over about 1-1/2". Place cut out sunflower near the top of the bag. Then staple flower to the folded bag along with a piece of Basic Black Bakers Twine.
- Stamp sentiment (from Thoughtful Banners stamp set) with Cajun Craze ink on scrap of Very Vanilla. Cut with Classic Label Punch. Optional: cut label down to roughly 1-3/4". Cut hole with 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch. Thread Bakers Twine through hole and tie in a bow.
- Cut Cajun Craze scrap with Leaf Punch. Adhere to under sunflower with Glue Dots.
I'm super excited about the way the treat pouch turned out. These would make sweet little co-worker gifts, party favors, a cute fall-themed wedding favor and more! Imagine them on your Thanksgiving table this year.
