Control Freaks Tour: Sweet Soiree Suite Inspiration

Control Freaks Tour Badge - Dawn Olchefske #dostamping

Welcome to the Control Freaks December 2017. We are thrilled to have you join us on the 20th of each month. Our tour features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers sharing projects made with Stampin' Up! products. In fact, you may have just come from my friend, Kelly Acheson's blog.

Our theme for this month is: New Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Products

I selected the coming soon - Sweet Soiree Suite!

Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit Mini Gable Box

Stampin' Up! Sweet Soiree Suite (coming Jan 2018) projects by Dawn Olchefske #dostamping #stampinup #sweetsoiree #controlfreaks #birthday #diy #packaging

When I received these Silver Mini Gable Boxes, I was thinking, "Maybe the inside is white?"  Guess what?...they are!  Just gently pull apart one edge and turn it inside out (use tear & tape to re-adhere)!  Though the silver is very nice, the white gives you more options.

Tips for Mini Gable Box

  1. Stamps: Cake Soiree
  2. Paper:
    • Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper (two of 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" )
    • Marina Mist (two of 1-3/4' x 1-3/4")
    • Whisper White (for greeting)
  3. Ink: Marina Mist
  4. Markers:  Stampin' Blends (Daffodil Delight and Old Olive combo packs) and Subtles Stampin' Write Marker Marina Mist)
  5. Other:  1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1/16" Handheld Punch, Silver Mini Gable Boxes, Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit, Silver Bakers Twine, 1/4" Silver Ribbon, Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, Fast Fuse & Stampin' Dimensionals
  6. Tips:  Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit
    • Color the yellow cake die cut (from kit) with markers
    • Fold 7" of Marina Mist Ribbon in half (from kit) along with other ribbon/trims.  Tie off with Silver Baker's Twine
    • Attach "tassel" of ribbons to greeting with clothespin (from kit)
