Control Freaks Feb 2018 Tour: Birthdays!

Welcome to the Control Freaks February 2018. We are thrilled to have you join us on the 20th of each month. Our tour features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers sharing projects made with Stampin' Up! products. In fact, you may have just come from fellow freak, Cindy Elam's blog.

Sweet Soiree Suite Birthday Card

First up is one for the ladies, using products from the Sweet Soiree Suite!  Get out your Stampin' Blends for this sweet card.  You could use any color combo you desire, but I used Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Pool Party.

Tips & Measurements for Cake Soiree card:

1. Stamps:  Cake Soiree
2. Paper: 
   • Whisper White Thick (11" x 4-1/4" card base, 4-1/4" x 2-5/8" for Lots of Labels die cut)
   • Old Olive (4-7/8" x 3" for Lots of Labels die cut)
   • Daffodil Delight (scrap for 3/4" Circle Punch)
   • Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper (3-3/4" x 5-1/4")
3. Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
4. Stampin' Blends: Daffodil Delight Combo, Old Olive Combo, Pool Party-Light
5. Other:  Big Shot, Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, 3/4" Circle Punch, Silver Bakers Twine, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals

True Gentleman Suite Birthday Card

Next up is one for the gentlemen, using products from the True Gentlemen Suite!  This card comes together fast with a "z" fold.  The twist is to adhere the fold down (just the front fold), so the Tailor Tag punch out supports the left flap.  

Tips & Measurements for Truly Tailored Card:

• Stamps: Truly Tailored (Bundle with Tailored Tag Punch)
• Paper:
  • Crumb Cake =  11" x 4-1/4" card base (score at 5-1/2" and 2-3/4" - fold and adhere 2-3/4" sections together - creates a "half-flap")
  • Very Vanilla = 4" x 5-1/4" inside panel, scrap for Tailor Tag Punch)
  • Night of Navy = 4" x 2-3/4"
  • True Gentlemen Designer Series Paper (4" x 2-1/2")
• Ink: Night of Navy Ink
• Other: Tailored Tag Punch, Stamparatus, Stampin' Dimensionals

This was one of the cards at my last Stamp-a-Stack class earlier this month.  We used the new Stamparatus for perfect stamp placement of the inside greeting.  I heard squeals of delight throughout the event as people used the Stamparatus (coming in the next Annual Catalog).  I love that this product makes for happy stampers!!
