Myths & Magic Suite Showcase Day #3: Fun Packaging Ideas!

Welcome to day #3 of Myths & Magic!
If you're anything like me, you are always on the lookout for cute items that match Stampin' Up! product. While shopping Target's Dollar Spot earlier this year, I came across a mini coloring book with a unicorn on the cover and knew I had to have it! In addition - a friend of mine and team member, Judy sent me a package of "unicorn gum" with a note that she thought I could come up with something fun to make with it (also from Target).
I created cute unicorn packaging for both...check them out!
How'd She DO That? Unicorn Gum Holder Pouch
- Stamps: Magical Day-retiring
- Paper:
- Dapper Denim-retiring (4-1/4" x 9-1/2, score at 1-1/4" and 4-3/4 to create pouch )
- Whisper White (scrap for tag)
- Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper-retiring (1" x 4")
- Ink: Berry Burst
- Other: Silver Mini Sequin Trim, 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch, Silver Bakers Twine, Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Birthday Mini Binder Clips-retiring, (and stapler)
- Tips:
- Fold pouch on score lines, adhere DSP to small fold-over section. Staple each side of the pouch together at the edge of the DSP.
- Attach Birthday Mini Binder Clip (silver) to front of punch. Tie on piece of Berry Burst Ribbon and Mini Silver Trim.
- Stamp greeting on scrap of Whisper White, cut out "one of a kind". Banner cut end and punch small hole at other end. Thread Silver Baker's Twine through hole and tie onto binder clip.

This fun unicorn mini coloring book from Target's Dollar Spot is about "half-size", only 5-3/8" x 4" x 1/2". If you are unable to find any, a small notebook would work too. Just change the size of the "belly band" to fit.

- Whisper White (3-1/2" x 3")
- Powder Pink (scrap for die cutting unicorn)
- Pool Party (scrap for Sunburst Punch)
- Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper-retiring (11" x 1" for belly band)
- Ink: Tuxedo Memento Black
- Stampin' Blends: Dark Pink Pirouette (ear), Dark Pool Party (mane), Light Rich Razzleberry (mane, hooves)
- Other: Big Shot, Magical Mates-retiring, Tutti-Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins-retiring, Lemon Lime Twist 3/8" Mini Striped Ribbon-retiring, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Clear Wink of Stella, Stampin' Dimensionals
- Tips:
- Wink of Stella was added to all of the areas colored with Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends
- For belly band, wrap DSP strip around book and adhere ends together (adjust sizing for your book)
