Myths & Magic Suite Showcase Day #4: Two For Tuesday!

Welcome to day #4 of Myths & Magic!
Today let's talk Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper:
- Enter the wonderful world of make-believe, where unicorns prance, mermaids sing, dragons breathe fire, and wizards enchant. Iridescent glittered designs on one side, colorful all-occasions imagery on the other.
- Coordinating colors: Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, Dapper Denim, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Pool Party, Powder Pink, Tangerine Tango, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White
Today's cards focus on only one of the double-sided sheets - the playful glittery mermaids on one side and Old Olive "scales" on the other side to create two completely different, but fun cards.
How'd She DO That? Mermaid Card
- Stamps: Magical Day-retiring, Labeler Alphabet
- Paper:
- Fresh Fig (11" X 4-1/4" card base)
- Whisper White (scrap for die cut 2-1/2" oval)
- Tranquil Tide (scrap for die cut 2-3/8" scallop oval
- Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper-retiring (4" x 5-1/4")
- Ink: Tuxedo Memento Black
- Other: Big Shot, Layering Oval Framelits Dies, Fresh Fig 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon-retiring, Stampin' Dimensionals
- Tips:
- If you love DSP like I do...let it be the star!
- Use the Labeler Alphabet set to create your own sentiments.
- By omitting "One of a Kind" and pairing it with the Labler Alphabet, this stamp image has endless possibilities!
How'd She DO That? Dragon card
- Stamps: Magical Day-retiring
- Paper:
- Soft Sky-retiring (11" x 4-1/4" card base, 4-1/8" x 5-3/8")
- Whisper White (1-1/4" x 4-1/8")
- Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper-retiring (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
- Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper-retiring (scrap for die cutting dragon)
- Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Archival Basic Gray (for stamping background), Old Olive, Versamark
- Heat Emboss: Ink image with Versamark ink, then Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Stamp on DSP (be careful not to "slip" as the DSP is glossy). Cover with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. Remove excess and melt with Heat Tool.
- Other: Big Shot, Magical Mates-retiring, Metallic Assortment Sequins, Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Fine Tip Glue Pen (sequins), Liquid Multipurpose Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals
