Welcome to the Control Freaks May 2018. We are thrilled to have you join us on the 20th of each month. Our tour features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers sharing projects made with Stampin' Up! products. In fact, you may have just come from fellow freak, Cindy Elam's blog.

Rooted in Nature

I've had this "masked sunset" style of card on my radar for a long time.  When I saw the new Rooted in Nature stamp set, I immediately knew it would be perfect for the technique.  I'm thrilled with the way it turned out.

Rooted In Nature Masked Sunset card:

1. On a 4" x 5-1/4" panel of Whisper White cardstock, mask off each side (left side 1/2", right side 1-3/4").
2. In the non-masked area, start sponging color from the bottom with the new colors; Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather & Blackberry Bliss.
3. Stamp tree & greeting images with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
4. Wrap Nature's Twine (Blackberry Bliss) around panel and tie in a bow.  Add two Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
5. Adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Hand Delivered Host Set

The Hand Delivered stamp set is one of six new host stamp sets coming in the new 2018/19 Annual Catalog (coming June 1st).  This super cute set has interchangeable images for birthday, graduation, wedding and more! 

Hand Delivered Birthday Card:

1. Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink:
   1. stamp several balloon images along the edges of a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" panel of Whisper White. 
   2. stamp skirt, floral (overlay image) and sign with black on 5-1/5" x 2" panel of Whisper White.  Stamp greeting with Rich Razzleberry ink,
   3. color both panels with Stampin' Blends (Light & Dark Pink Pirouette, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Rich Razzleberry).
2. Adhere large panel to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Rich Razzleberry card base.
3. Use Tear & Tape to adhere retiring Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon to both sides of the smaller white panel.  Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. 
4. Use Stampin' Blends to color Basic Pearl Jewels and attach to card.
