Pressed Flowers Sympathy Card

Today's card features the new Stampin' Rewards set (free with $150 or more order). The stamp set is called Pressed Flowers and it caught my eye right away.
Tomorrow I'll be attending my Great Aunt Ann's funeral. She lived to be 98 years old (almost 99). She always had a great disposition and lots of energy. She proudly served both her community (up until a few years ago) & country when she was younger. She lived a good life!
I enjoyed making this card for her family while I recalled sweet memories of her. The card is so much better in real life. My camera was having a hard time capturing the colors. But I know she would have liked the card.
How'd She DO That? tips for Pressed Flower Sympathy card:
- Stamps: Pressed Flowers (host set free with $150 or more order), Itty Bitty Greetings
- Paper:
- Highland Heather (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
- Whisper White (3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and scrap for punch)
- Gray Granite (4" x 5-1/4")
- Ink:
- Gorgeous Grape = largest flowers/stem
- Petal Pink = middle size flower/stem
- Highland Heather = small flowers/stem (and for sponging)
- Gray Granite = large leafy image & greeting
- Other: Stampin' Sponges, 5/8" Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, Classic Label Punch, Basic Rhinestone Jewels & Mini Stampin' Dimensionals
- Tips:
- flowers were stamped once and again without reinking
- leafy image was stamped off on scatch paper, then stamped off several times on flower panel
- use a light hand for sponging, working from bottom upwards
