DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #301: Beautiful Blizzard with Joyous Noel

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "showCASE" challenge.
I'm excited for this week's showCASE challenge. Why...because I really like the layout of this card in the Holiday Catalog and I thought it could be applied to a lot of different Designer Series Papers. Here's my take on it...
With the catalog inspiration, this card came together very quickly (gotta love that?). I actually chose the snowflake pattern from the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper first, then searched for a stamp set that would complement it. I didn't have to search too far, as the Beautiful Blizzard Bundle was the perfect choice.
How'd She DO That? tips for Beautiful Blizzard card:
- Stamps: Beautiful Blizzard
- Paper:
- Sahara Sand (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Whisper White (./4" x 3-1/2" banner)
- Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (4" x 5-1/4", 3/4" x 4-1/2")
- Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper (scraps for snowflakes)
- Ink: Tranquil Tide
- Other: Big Shot, Precision Base Plate, Blizzard Thinlit Die, 3/16" Braided Linen Trim, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets & Stampin' Dimensionals
- Tip: For the snowflakes
- I cut a 2" x 4" piece of Glimmer Paper and Multipurpose Adhesive sheets and stuck them together.
- Placed it near one end of the die and cut several snowflakes. Then I had a few choices of sizes to select from. NOTE: this die cuts lots of snowflakes, see below for the sizes.
- The Blizzard Die definitely required the Precision Base Plate. For my Big Shot, I added a "shim" of folded copy paper too.
