Quick & Easy Most Wonderful Time Product Medley

On with today's card that features the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley.

The Most Wonderful Time Product Medley includes stamps, paper, dies, and accessories that are perfectly coordinated for creating cards and more. A product medley is similar to our cardmaking kits and other project kits but without the predetermined projects

This was one of the cards I designed for a card ministry group I belong to. This year our group made 385 Christmas cards...all in about 3-1/2 hours - we had lots of helping hands!

DOstamping Tips:

Forest of trees: stamp tree image (from product medley) several times in Old Olive ink, create color variation by stamping off a couple times.
Brush on Wink of Stella to make your trees shimmer and shine!

Stamping with the STARS #327: Wrapped in Plaid Fun Fold Ornament

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Inspiration Hop #DOswts327. Today we're showcasing a non-card ideas!

There's so many non-card ideas to choose from. But at this time of year, I thought of ornaments or packaging, and landed on a Folded Star Ornament. I made one of these easy ornaments 8 years ago (oh my). Now is a good time to "bring it back"

I pulled out the Wrapped in Plaid Suite of products for my ornament.

How'd She DO That? Folded Star Ornament:

Stamps: Perfectly Plaid
Paper:
- Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper (five 3"x 3" pieces)
- Shaded Spruce or Cherry Cobbler (1-1/2" square)
- Whisper White (scrap for Classic Label Punch)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Other: Bone Folder, Classic Label Punch, Shaded Spruce /Gold 3/8" Striped Ribbon, Nature's Twine, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Jingle Bells, SNAIL

I made two ornament, using two different ribbon/twines. I like the look of the Shaded Spruce/Gold ribbon, but preferred working with the Nature's Twine, as it was easier to thread through the Jingle Bell.

DOstamping Tips:

Fold each 3" DSP square in half. Then open and fold in half the other direction. Then open and flip over...fold corner to corner. Use Bone folder to crease folds.
Once folded, it should naturally want to fold down into a "squash" fold...to a 1-1/2" square.
Adhere folded squares together (keeping them folded and making sure the "open" corner match up.
When the 5 squares are adhere, adhere a piece of twine or ribbon onto each each- approx 10" each. The "ends" of the twine should come outwards from the "open" corners.
Cover over the ends/twine with the 1-1/2" squares.
Thread on Jingle Bell through both pieces of ribbon/twine (one piece at a twine). Then tie the twine together with an overhand knot. Pull down the bell to close the ornament.
Stamp/punch out sentiment and tie onto one of the pieces of ribbon with Whisper White Baker's Twine.
To open - pull bell out toward the knot. Flip open the folded star and match ends up. Then pull bell back down to the ornament.

Snow Front Thanksgiving Card

November 12, 2019

Today I'm sharing Thanksgiving card featuring the Snow Front stamp set (found on pg 45 in the 2019 Holiday Catalog).

You can create tranquil scenes with the Snow Front Stamp Set, whether it's cozy cabins with dainty deer or playful cardinals in a winter forest. This Two-Step Stampin’ set allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want.

How'd She DO That? Snow Front Thanksgiving card

Stamps: Snow Front and Days of Thanks (sentiment)
Paper:
- Very Vanilla Thick (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Very Vanilla (3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and scrap for label die)
- Old Olive (4" x 5-1/4" and 1-1/2" x 5-1/8")
Ink: Old Olive, Mango Melody, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze
Other: Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, SNAIL & Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

It's hard to see in the photo, but after stamping the greeting, add texture with the Subtle embossing folder
To create even more texture and varying colors, use the "stamping off" technique method of stamping.
- Stamping Off = stamping same image two or more times without re-inking in between.

A product medley is similar to our cardmaking kits and other project kits but without the predetermined projects.
You add your own creativity to bring a product medley alive!
