I'm excited to join in with this talented group of stampers to share alternate ideas for Paper Pumpkin Kits. Today we're sharing the February 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Grown With Kindness
Wanna get more cards out of your kit this month? Then I've got the perfect alternate card idea for you!
All four of these cards use the same layout, using only one of the photo card panels. Yes, that's right...4 cards from 1 panel. I love it when I can stretch my Paper Pumpkin kits further!
Wrap them up in a Belly Band and give to someone special.
How'd She DO That? Measurements for (4):
- Cut one photo sheet into 4 pieces, measuring 2-1/8" x 1-7/8"
- Basic Gray: (4) 2-1/8" x 1" pieces (repeatedly stamp border image)
- Whisper White: (4) 3" x 1-3/4"pieces - (stamp greeting)
- (4) 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" (Fresh Fig, Basic Black, Mint Macaron)
- (4) 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card bases (Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig)
- Fresh Fig (1-1/4" x 11" for belly band)
- Medallion: 1-3/4" Circle Punch (Lemon Lime Twist), 2" Circle Punch (Fresh Fig), Starburst Punch (Whisper White
I couldn't decide which color combination to go with, so I tried 4 different combo.
- The Belly Band was used to wrap all 4 cards together.
- The medallion was fun to create using one of the border stamps. Stamp once horizontally, then again vertically (forming a cross). The stamp two more times filling in between the spaces.
- Experiment with the border images to see what you can create, outside-the-box.
For the above three cards:
- I used the Fresh Fig Stampin' Spot included with the kit.
- The twine bows are attached with a glue dot.
- This was the first one I made using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, for a classic black and white look.
Well, I still couldn't decide which one I liked the best. Which one do you like?
