Stamping with the STARS #309: Texture Folder Stamping Inspiration

Here's my interpretation using the Tin Tile Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF)...
How'd She DO That? tips for Texture Folder Stamping:
- Select a Texture Impressions Emboss Folding
- Open the folder and on inside, front (the side with Sizzix & Stampin' Up!)...add ink to the folder. You can use direct to folder with an inkpad, or sponge daubers to add different colors. I used both. I swiped the Mango Melody ink pad across the folder. Then used a Sponge Dauber to add Poppy Parade ink in selected areas.
- Use a Stampin' Spritzer to spray with water.
- Then press the cardstock onto the folder. For a more of a watercolor look, "dance" your fingers across the paper. For a more even look press down on the entire paper.
- Optionally - skip the water - for more of a printed look.
- When using water, use watercolor paper, Whisper White Thick or (what I prefer is) Shimmery White Paper.
When using the instructions above - using the inside/front of the folder. This is what kind of impression you'll get. However, for me...it was a little to busy for what I was looking for (will use it another time).
Instead, I tried it on the opposite of the folder and I got a different pattern, more of what I was looking for. So experience with both sides of Texture Impressions Embossing Folders. You'll never know what you'll get.
