I'm excited to join in with this talented group of stampers to share alternate ideas for Paper Pumpkin Kits. Today we're sharing the October 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Winter Woods.

Here's my Paper Pumpkin Winter Woods alternative projects...
- all three cards are Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes (finished size 5" x 3-1/2"
- when using note cards, I like to do my stamping on a 4-7/8" x 3-3/8" Whisper White panel.
Winter Wishes Snowflake Card
This card couldn't be easier to make. Just randomly stamp snowflakes with Pool Party ink. Stamp and trim down sentiment (add a twist of silver thread). Finish off with rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes...and you're done!
Seasons Greetings Tree card
For this card, I trimmed off 3/4" from both the top and bottom of the card front, and used that for the greeting.
- Stamp "dots" on the right side of white panel. Use Pool Party ink - stamp off on scrap paper first.
- Adhere a set of trees to panel and trim off excess.
- Stamp sentiment on a piece from the card front. Adhere both pieces and trim off excess.
- Adhere bird and finish off with rhinestones.
Garland Holiday Card
I wanted to try something a little different and create swath of color in the background. I know it's a little hard to see the details on this card, but I think it's my favorite!
- Use an Aqua Painter and Pool Party ink (pooled in the lid) and quickly "scribble" a swath of color.
- After it dries, stamp the "dots" with stamped off Pool Party ink and greeting with ink from kit.
- Create "garland" by using the Sprig punch. Cut two Shaded Spruce Sprigs. Cut them in half. I used the curved sprigs and adhere them down with glue dot.
- Adhere bird and finish off with rhinestones.
NOTE: When I make this card again, I would either not water down the Pool Party ink as much as I did, or maybe try a watered down Night of Navy (but I was thinking that might be too dark).
