Easy Painted Poppies Birthday

Today I'm sharing my first creation made with product from the new Peaceful Poppies Suite!
The Painted Poppies Stamp Set is inspired by a field of poppies and features beautiful line-art images you can fill in with your choice of coloring techniques (see DOstamping Tips below).
How'd She DO That? Happy Birthday Poppies card
- Stamps/Bundles: Painted Poppies (Bundle with Painted Labels Dies & SAVE 10%) , Peaceful Moments
- Paper:
- Poppy Parade (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Whisper White (2-3/4" x 4", scrap for flower die)
- Basic Black (3" x 4-1/4", 3/8" x 4-1/4")
- Old Olive (scrap for 2 leaves dies)
- Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (1" x 4")
- Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Poppy Parade
- Other: Painted Labels Dies, Gold Faceted Gems, SNAIL, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals
DOstamping Tips:
- You'll notice that the "textured flower background" image doesn't fully match the flower outline image. It was designed that way, to give the look of watercoloring.
- If you prefer a fully colored flower, here's a couple of coloring options to choose from:
- Color with ink and Aqua Painter
- Use Stampin' Blends to color flower
- Stamp on solid colored cardstock or Designer Series Paper (the backside of this DSP has LOTS of colors/textures to choose from!)
- I found the Gold Faceted Gems to be a perfect fit for the center of the flower.
