From My Heart Suite: 10 Lovely Swaps and More

Today I'm sharing 10 lovely From My Heart Suite samples that I received from swapping earlier this month.

Roses are red, violets are blue; the From My Heart Suite was designed just for you!
Use the hearts and arrows in the Heartfelt Bundle (with Heart Punch Pack) to create treat tags, boxes, and cards for Valentine’s Day. The greetings are designed to convey love and friendship.
Use the Heart Punch Pack to create a paper heart cut out and a scallop paper heart cut out. Use punched images separately or layer for beautiful coordination.

The From my Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper has playful heart patterns with red and pink foil accents on some designs.
Some images from the paper can be cut out using the Heart Punch Pack.
This paper is excellent for valentines, cards, and scrapbook pages.

I had a lot of fun playing with this month's kit, as it's filled with lots of possibilities. It's perfect for quick & cute cards. Here's two alternative ideas for you using I'll Bee Yours Paper Pumpkin kit...

How'd She DO That? Bee Mine card:

Die cut 1-1/2" Highland Heather scallop square (Layering Squares Dies). Wrap twine around square and tie in a bow.
Stamp floral black image on 1-1/4" Purple Posy square with Highland Heather ink. Adhere to scallop square with dimensionals.
Adhere square to 3/8" x 3-3/8" Basic Black strip. Then adhere to 2-3/4" x 4" Whisper White panel.
Stamp bee image on backside of die cut with Highland Heather ink. Color in with Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. Adhere with dimensionals. Stamp sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Adhere completed panel to Purple Posy (4-1/4 x 11" - score at 5-1/2" card base).
Attach sequin, add Rhinestone to center.

How'd She DO That? Lifetime of Love card:

Trim off 1/2" from white end of kit card. Adhere to Mint Macaron (4-1/4 x 11" - score at 5-1/2" card base).
Stamp sentiment where shown.
Cut Whisper White scallop heart (Heart Punch Pack) and adhere to heart die cut from kit.
Z-fold a 10" piece of Silver Metallic Edge ribbon and adhere to back of heart. Then adhere to card with dimensionals.
Add 3 rhinestones to heart and one on card.

Stamping with the STARS #331: Sketch with Paper Pumpkin

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Inspiration Hop #DOswts331. Today we're showcasing a quick & cute Sketch Inspiration!

I decided to use a Paper Pumpkin kit - January's I'll Bee Yours.

The kit is filled with mini cards and treat bags. With a super cute stamp set and lots of additional supplies/die cuts, you'll have fun creating alternate projects (if treat bags aren't your thing). See what I did below...

With a sketch to inspire me, the card came together in no time at all! Don't you think it turned out cute?

How'd She DO That? tips:

For the Heart Shape
- From the I'll Bee Yours Paper Pumpkin kit, insert the bottom edge of a "treat bag" into the Scallop Heart Punch - (from Heart Punch Pack).
- Line up the treat bag with the center of the heart and punch.
- Fold open to reveal a full heart shape.
- To make it more sturdy - cut another scallop heart shape from Whisper White cardstock.
Stamped strip - stamp "floral block" image twice.

Quick Wash Coloring with The Gang's All Meer!

- Coastal Cabana (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Whisper White or Shimmery White (4" x 5-1/4")
- Whisper White (3" x 3-1/2" for "frame - centering largest Stitched Shape square die on 3-sides, and scrap for Classic Label Punch & hats)
- Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper (3/8" x 3-1/2", 1/2" x 3-1/2")
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Pool Party, Terracotta Tile, Bermuda Bay

How'd She DO That? Tips:

I'm not the best at watercoloring, so this Quick Wash tip was the way to go for me. Plus, I made 36 of them, so it had to be fast!

For the Aqua Painter, keep it more on the dry side. If it's too wet, the paper will start "pilling.
Squeeze ink pad before opening, then pick up pooled ink from the lid with the Aqua Painter.
Color images fast with a quick "swipe" across them - using a light touch.

Stamping with the STARS #330: From My Heart Foil Tin

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Inspiration Hop #DOswts330. Today we're showcasing a fun Valentine Treat Inspiration!

For today's Valentine Treat Packaging project, I knew exactly what I'd be creating with...the new Heart Foil Tins!

So I pulled out some products from the From My Heart Product Suite and started playing around. It didn't take long for this super cute Heart Foil Tin to come together. Here's what you need...

How'd She DO That? Heart Foil Tin:

Stamps: Heartfelt Bundle (with Heart Punch Pack - not just 1 punch, but TWO punches!)
Paper:
- Whisper White Thick (scraps for Scallop Heart Punch, and Classic Label Punch)
- From My Heart Designer Series Paper (for Heart Punch, (6) 1" x 3" pieces for candy wraps)
- Heart Doilies
Ink: Real Red
Other: Heart Foil Tins, Real Red 3/8" Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Classic Label Punch, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

DOstamping Tips:

For the Heart Foil Tin:
- Adhere white scallop heart to Heart Doily. Then add a couple strips of Snail Adhesive to adhere folded ribbon to.
- Stamp sentiment on scrap and cut out with Classic Label punch (positioning sentiment on the left). Adhere under DSP heart punch out (several patterns of hearts to choose from that will match the punch!).
- Adhere DSP heart/sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Tie a bow in twine and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
For Candy Wrap: wrap 1" x 3" piece of DSP around Hershey Nuggets and secure with Mini Glue Dots (6 fit nicely in the tin)

I was giddy when I stood back and gave a look at the completed Heart Foil Tin, for two reasons:

It turned out so stinkin' cute!
It came together very quickly!
Also - when I showed it to my husband, he asked where I got that from. I said, "I made it". I was horrified that he thought I bought it! But also flattered that he thought it looked that good!
