Your Creative Connection #108: Celebrate Sunflowers Sneak Peek

Welcome to another Your Creative Connection tour, #YCC108. Our theme today is: Love is in the Air
Over the Memorial Day weekend, I got the chance to play with the soon-to-be-released Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set. Oh my gosh - I'm in LOVE! Which means, love is definitely in the air at my house!
How'd She DO That? Celebrate Sunflowers Card
(everything list in red is new)
- Stamps: Celebrate Sunflowers, Lovely You Bundle (for greeting and punched label)
- Paper:
- Whisper White Thick (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
- Bumblebee (3"x 3")
- Early Espresso (1" x 4-1/2" for punch)
- Ink: Early Espresso, Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
- Other: Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, Gilded Gems, SNAIL & Stampin' Dimensionals
DOstamping Tips:
- After stamping the sunflower, use Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to move/color in the flower center (I thought this made it look more realistic)
- To stamp the leaf, I created a "mask" of the sunflower so the flower would appear like it's showing from under the flower.
- To create the punched layer behind the focal piece, use the soon-to-be-release Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to cut each end of the 1" x 4-1/2" piece of cardstock.
I'm really lovin' how the combination of these fun new products came together for this quick and cute card. I look forward to sharing my other Celebrate Sunshine cards with you soon...after the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog is released June 3.
