You're the BEST FRIEND DOstamping Tips:

I've had this fun little award sitting on my desk for awhile now. It makes me smile every time I look at it. I've gonna have to send it off to someone else to make them smile too!
It uses one of the Mint Macaron stitched rectangle pieces from the kit. Just fold in half and decorate as desired.
Makes for a special award!

Celebration Daisy DOstamping Tips:

The World's Greatest kit lends itself to more of a masculine feel. So I wanted to make something a little more feminine.
Daisy Punch to the rescue! I had to get a little creative with the flower center. I used the center of the letter "O" from the Playful Alphabet Dies (measures 7/16").
For the front plaid panel: Cut a card base in half, then in half again (2-3/4" x 4-1/4"). You can make 4 cards from just one card base!
Bumblebee panel measures 3-1/4" x 4-1/4"
The white banner is 3/4" x 3-3/4" - then punch with the new Banners Pick a Punch (love it!)

Celebration Daisy (take 2) DOstamping Tips:

Same card as above, just a few differences. Couldn't decide which one I liked the best.
Bumblebee panel measures 3" x 3". Pacific Point strip measures 1" x 4"

Your Creative Connection #YCC114: Strong & Beautiful

For today's challenge, I reached for the NEW Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper. The pattern paper was designed for Halloween, but there are several patterns that could be used all-year long! Take a look...

How'd She DO That? Strong & Beautiful card

Stamps: Strong & Beautiful
Paper:
- Basic Gray (4-1/4" x 11" card base)
- Blackberry Bliss (4" x 5-1/4" and scrap for banner shape die from Tasteful Labels)
- Smoky Slate (scrap for Stitched So Sweetly Die for the sentiment)
- Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper (two of 2" x 3")
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
Other: Tasteful Labels Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Seal, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

If you have seen this paper, you might be wondering where the coloring on the flowers came from. I took some liberties with the challenge of black and white, and added Blackberry Bliss (ha...it has black in it's name, right?!) See my tips for more information.

DOstamping Tips:

For coloring the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper , I used a Blackberry Bliss ink pad and the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
- While the pad is closed - squeeze the lid into the pad and then open to find a "pool" of ink in the lid.
- Pick up some ink with the Glitter Brush to add color and glitter to the flowers at the same time.
- This card looks amazing in real life!
The Blackberry Bliss banner ends come from a single banner die from the Tasteful Labels Dies - just cut in half.

I have to admit, without this challenge I would have never made a card like this. And I'm SO happy with the results. Give this challenge a try for yourself.

Tasteful Touches meets Flowers For Every Season

Today I'm sharing a Quick & Cute (QC) card using one of my favorite patterns from the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper.

As you can see, I paired it with the Tasteful Touches Bundle. It nicely complements the flowers in the paper.

Playing With Patterns Suite: Cue The Confetti!

Last week I celebrated my birthday! So I thought I shared a fun birthday card I made awhile ago using products from the Playing with Patterns Suite!

At first glance - I didn't think I needed this suite. But it has actually grown on me and is now one of my favorites!

The Pattern Play Bundle includes the Pattern Play Stamp Set and the Playful Alphabet Dies.

PATTERN PLAY PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET
- The Pattern Play Stamp Set gives you lots of textures to combine with other stamp set images for maximum fun.
- 11 photopolymer stamps. Suggested clear blocks (sold separately): a, c, i.
PLAYFUL ALPHABET DIES
- Create custom die-cut letters, numbers, and more using the Playful Alphabet Dies.
- Dies include duplicate letters (A, E, I, L, N, O, P, R, S, T). (*58 dies)

How'd She DO That? Hey There QC card

Stamps: Beautiful Autumn (Bundle & Save 10% with the Autumn Punch Pack)
Paper:
- Early Espresso (4-1/4" x 11" card base and scrap for punch)
- Cajun Craze (4" x 5-1/4" and scrap for punch)
- Crumb Cake (scraps for punch)
- Very Vanilla (1/2" x 2-1/2" for Banners Pick a Punch)

DOstamping Tips:

Cut two acorns - Crumb Cake & Early Espresso. Trim off Early Espresso "cap" and adhere to Crumb Cake acorn Mini Glue Dot.
Adhere to maple leaf with Mini Glue Dot, then adhere to card with Mini Stampin' Dimensional.
