A Perfect Match: Sale-a-Bration Beautifully Penned & Floral Squares Dies

One of the new products from Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog is the Floral Squares Dies. I purchased it right away, but am only now playing with it. I paired it with the neutral Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper (a FREE Sale-a-Bration $50 level choice!)
With the Floral Squares Dies, you can make fun cards or adorable peekaboo elements with the individual pieces. You'll love seeing what you can do with the leaves and flowers. For these cards, I decided to bring the focus to the flower element, leaving the square a neutral black. I love the way they turned out!
How'd She DO That? Floral Squares card
- Paper:
- Basic Gray (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Basic White (2-1/4" square )
- Smoky Slate (2" square)
- Basic Black (scrap for die cutting square)
- Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay, Polished Pink (scraps for flower die cutting)
- Designer Series Paper (1" x 5-1/2")
- Other: Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Floral Squares Dies, Matte Black Dots, Stampin' Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue & Stampin' Dimensionals
They turned out SO CUTE! Don't you think? Which flower is your favorite? Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay or Polished Pink?
I made these for my August Thank You cards. I purposely left them with no sentiment, so my customers could add one of their own. They are going out in the mail today, along with the VIP Host Code Gifts.
