CASE of Monday: Wishes All Around Tree Wreath with Two-Tone Tip

Today I'm sharing another card I created using the Wishes All Around Bundle.
I CASE'd the card found on pg 73 of the Stampin' Up! Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog. My eye was drawn to the two-toned color trees (scroll down to see my tips for creating them).
But a funny thing happened on the way to make this card...
- I wanted to use a different sentiment and wasn't sure if it would fit in the center of the wreath.
- So I stamped it on a scrap piece of white cardstock I had lying around and slid it under the wreath.
- Oh my gosh - I actually loved the look of the strip of cardstock vs. the square piece. So I left it.
- So when CASEing, go ahead and experiment. It doesn't have to look exactly the same - it's just a place to start!
When you combine it with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder, it really captures the beauty of winter!
How'd She DO That? Wishes All Around Snowflake Wreath card
- Stamps/Bundles: Wishes All Around Bundle (includes dies)
- Paper:
- Basic White Thick (11" x 4-1/4" card base, scrap for snowflake wreath die cut)
- Basic White (1-3/4" x 4")
- Garden Green & Soft Sea Foam (scraps for die cuts)
- Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper (4" x 5-1/4")
- Ink: Berry Burst, Garden Green
- Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Sponge Daubers, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, 2023-2023 In Color Jute Trim, Stampin' Seal, Mini Glue Dots, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals
DOstamping Tips: updated 11/21
- Create a two-toned look by inking up the tree wreath image with Berry Burst ink.
- Stamp off onto a piece of scratch paper.
- Use a sponge dauber to add Berry Burst ink to every other tree.
- Stamp onto large scrap of Basic White Thick cardstock and die cut.
- Voila...a two-toned tree wreath!
This card is a perfect way to express your joy and gratitude for the holiday season.
