Tune In Bundle: Stay Tuned For An Important Message, Black Vinyl

Today I'm sharing a super cool card using the Tune In Bundle (extra 10 % off during June).
I wanted to give this card some 1950's razzle dazzle feel. The nifty television sets the vibe and with the added "black vinyl" it feels like a blast from the past. See my DOstamping Tips below to learn how to create your own black vinyl.
How'd She DO That? Stay Tuned Black Vinyl card
- Stamps/Bundles: Tune In Bundle - includes dies (extra 10% off in June)
- Paper:
- Shy Shamrock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base, 3-1/2" square for TV stand stamp/die)
- Basic White (two of 4" x 5-1/4", 3-1/2" square - die cut TV stand outside only)
- Basic Black (2" x 4-1/4" - see tips below)
- 2024-2026 In Color 6x6 Designer Series Paper (2" x 4")
- Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
- Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (10% off in June), Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, packing tape, pencil
DOstamping Tips:
- Create black "vinyl": cover 2" x 4-1/4" black piece with packing tape. Be sure to firmly press down all areas.
- Cut off a 1/2" x 4" piece
- Die cut antennae and knobs
- Adhere DSP & black vinyl strip to white panel, then adhere to folded card base.
- Stamp TV stand in center of Shy Shamrock square and die cut with both stand and screen shapes. On screen piece, stamp Happy Birthday.
- Place Shy Shamrock TV stand die cut over white TV stand die cut (do not adhere yet) and use pencil to lightly trace screen. Remove and stamp sentiment in penciled area. Erase pencil line and cover sentiment area with packing tape. Then adhere both together (ensuring room for antennae). Then adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Use Glue Dots to adhere antennae and knob die cuts as shown.
- For inside white panel
- Stamp "star" image twice as shown.
- Adhere TV screen greeting
- Adhere to inside of card
