Today I'm sharing a fun layout using pattern paper from our upcoming Designer Series Paper Sale, starting August 6
I had so much fun with this Color Blocking style of card, I made more 5 of them with different Designer Series Papers that are on sale starting tomorrow!
I had so much fun creating these samples for you...check them out:
How'd She DO That? Color Block card
- Stamps: various - see supply list below
- Paper:
-
- Card Base - various colors - see supply list below (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Basic White (4" x 5-1/4" and scrap for sentiment)
- Designer Series Paper (two of 1-1/4" x 1-3/8", four of 1-1/4" x 2-3/8" - mind the direction of the printed patterns when cutting)
- Ink: various colors (see supply list below)
- Other: Lovely Label Punch, Stampin' Seal, Stampin' Dimensionals (various embellishments - see supply list below)
DOstamping Tips:
- This card layout is great for mixing and matching pattern papers.
- Cut up a variety of patterns from a single Designer Series Paper pack and have fun arranging them in a pleasing order!
For this one, I turned the layout upside down, as I wanted the clouds to go across the top. You could even try it in landscape too. Either way, I'm sure you'll have fun making this color block card
