Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper: Ornament Card

Today I'm sharing a fun & each holiday card featuring an ornament created with Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper (from the Stampin' Up! 2024 Jan-Dec Mini Catalog)
I had some more Christmas cards to make and reach for the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper. I always purchase all of the Designer Series Papers in all of Stampin' Up! catalogs...because I love pattern paper! But I don't always get the matching stamp set/bundles. For this paper, I found that the sentiments in the Decorative Trees stamp set fit the bill.
The ornament is made entirely with Stampin' Up! Punches (see my tips below).
How'd She DO That? Sentimental Christmas Ornament card
- Stamps/Bundles: Decorative Trees (sentiment)
- Paper:
- Poppy Parade (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base, scrap for 2-3/8" circle punch)
- Basic White (3-7/8" x 5-1/8")
- Gold Foil (scrap for Labeled with Love punch)
- Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper (3-3/4" x 5" corner of foliage with candy canes, printed foliage spray 2" circle punch)
- Ink: Poppy Parade
- Other: 2" Circle Punch, 2-3/8" Circle Punch, Labeled With Love Punch, Gold Twisted Thread, Blooming Pearls, Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals
DOstamping Tips:
- While designing with the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, I found the printed foliage spray image fit nicely in a 2" circle.
- I wasn't sure what I was going to make with it, but landed on an ornament - matted with a Poppy Parade 2-3/4" circle.
- For the ornament "cap", I used Gold Foil cut with the Labeled with Love punch (cut in half)
- Then finished it off with the new Gold Twisted Thread (online exclusive).
