Six Paper Pumpkin Alternatives: Inked Occasions

Today I'm sharing 6 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives using the April 2025 Kit, Inked Occasions.

This kit is filled with stunning cards with hand-painted, alcohol ink designs and gold accents!  I created two alternatives for each of the three kit card styles.  Check out my creations below...

 

How'd She DO That? Inked Occasions - use darker alcohol ink designed kit card base

Card A - Thinking of You

• Paper: 
  • Cut kit card base in half along score line. Cut off 3-1/4" from bottom (save top 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece for card B)
  • Fresh Freesia (4-1/4" x 11" card base) 
  • Berry Burst (3-1/2" x 4-1/4") 
  • Gold Leaf die cut (from kit)
  • White label die cut (from kit)
• Ink:  Berry Burst (from kit)
• Other: Iridescent 1/2" Striped Trim, Basic Rhinestone Jewels

Card B - Thinking of You Note Card

• Paper:
  • Piece leftover from trimming card base from kit (2-1/4" x 4-1/4")
  • Basic White Note Cards & Envelope 
  • Berry Burst (2-1/2" x 3") 
  • Envelope from kit (trim out a 2" x 5-1/4" piece to adhere to note card envelope flap)
• Ink: Berry Burst (from kit)
• Other: Iridescent 1/2" Striped Trim, Basic Rhinestone Jewels

How'd She DO That? Inked Occasions - use the back of lighter alcohol ink designed kit card base

Card A - Thinking of You

• Paper: 
  • Cut kit card base in half along score line. Cut back portion in half at 2-3/4" (save 2nd piece for card B)
  • Pool Party (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base) 
  • Berry Burst (3" x 4-1/2") 
  • Floral die cut (from kit) - cut in half (save 2nd piece for card B)
• Ink:  Berry Burst
• Other: Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (under flowers and bottom area.)

Card B - Congratulations

• Paper: 
  • Piece leftover from trimming card base from kit (2-3/4" x 4-1/4")
  • Fresh Freesia (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base) 
  • Highland Heather (3" x 4-1/2") 
  • White label die cut (from kit)
• Ink:  Highland Heather
• Other: Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

 

How'd She DO That? Inked Occasions -use alcohol ink with foil detailing designed kit card base

Card A - Congratulations

• Paper: 
  • Cut kit card base in half along score line. Cut off 1" strip from both bottom and top (save the rest for card B)
    • Cut strips to measure 1" x 3-3/4"
  • Fresh Freesia (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base) 
  • Basic White (1" x 3-3/4" for sentiment)
  • Berry Burst (scrap for flower die cut) 
  • Gold Foil (three of 1-1/8" x 3-7/8" strips, scrap for leaf die cut)
• Ink:  Berry Burst (from kit)
• Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Hugs Abloom Dies, Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Card B - Hugs

• Paper:
  • Trim leftover piece from trimming card base from kit to 3-5/8" square
  • Thick Basic White (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base)
  • Peach Pie (3-3/4" x 4-3/4") 
  • Highland Heather (scrap for Stylish Shapes 2-1/8" circle die cut
  • White label die cut (from kit)
  • Hugs die cut (from kt)
• Ink: Highland Heather 
• Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Died, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

 

Which ones are your favorite?  I think the like the first set the best.

If you use these designs, you can get at least 18 cards, with leftover pieces to make more!
