Welcome to Day #6 of the Display Stamper Blog Hop. Today I'm sharing a Picnic With You Note Cards (from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalog (starts Jan 3).

If you're a follower of mine, you'll know that I really enjoy making cards with Stampin' Up!'s Note Cards and Envelopes [131527]. They are sized at 5" x 3-1/2" and are perfect for a quick card and note.

Besides picnic images, the Picnic With You stamp set has a few floral images and some nice greetings. I paired them together for some quick cards.

Each card features a different shape from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies [145372] (also one of my favorites), a different color from the 2016-2018 In Color Classic Stampin' Pads [141818]. This one is Flirty Flamingo.

I was happy to discover that the Heart Happiness stamp set coordinates with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies [141707] - yay!

Plus the beautiful floral heart image also paired perfectly with one of the Lovely Words Thinlits Dies [143733] - yay! It was colored with Stampin' Blends (Calypso Coral & Old Olive).

Display Stamper Blog Hop Day#4: Cake Soiree & Silver Mini Gable Box

We're at the half-way point of the Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day #4. Today I'm sharing a couple of my favorite projects using the Cake Soiree stamp set and Silver Mini Gable Box, from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalog (starts Jan 3).

First off - I was happy to see these adorable Mini Silver Gable Boxes for my assignment. I didn't want to just add some DSP and a tag. I wanted to do something unexpected. I thought, "What if I silver embossed on the boxes...how would that look?" Oh my gosh...it looked awesome! See for yourself...

Even though these were hard to photograph, I think you get the idea on how beautiful these projects turned out. Here's my thoughts on the Silver Mini Gable Boxes:

They come flat and easy to put fold up.
The greeting and floral image are from the new Cake Soriee stamp set
As you can see, the embossing turned out wonderfully...give it a try! (I used Versamark and Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder)
For embossing - be sure to use the embossing buddy first.
These would be great for gift packaging, treats boxes at a wedding/shower, even centerpieces.
You might be wondering about the beautiful rich looking ribbon...that's new too. It's Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon and I'm in love!!

With the box done, I had to make a matching card. This photo does not do it justice - it's gorgeous in real life! The silver embossing is done on Silver Foil Sheets and Berry Burst cardstock (Layering Oval Framelits for the window). The new Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon adds the finishing touch

Tip: Don't forget to use the Embossing Buddy [103083] before you stamp and emboss!

Display Stamper Blog Hop Day#3: Picnic With You

Welcome to Day #3 of the Display Stamper Blog Hop. Today I'm sharing a Picnic With You card (from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalog (starts Jan 3). This stamp set does also have a set of coordinating Framelits, Picnic Basket Builder Framelits Dies. However, they were not ready in time, so I hand-cut each piece (so you may find some inconsistencies with the cutting).

I was happy with the way this cheerful card came together. It would be great for a thinking of you, anniversary or even a birthday card.

I added a little bit of texture in the background with the Burlap Stamp Set [143979w or 143982c].

Suggestions for working with the Picnic With You stamp set...

Stamp all of the images that come in the stamp set in a variety of colors
Die cut images with Picnic Basket Builder Framelits Dies.
Then have fun playing around with all of the various images and your card will come alive!

Welcome to Day #2 of the Display Stamper Blog Hop. I have some special projects to share with you featuring the Heart Happiness stamp set (from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalog (starts Jan 3).

Here's a cute Valentine's Day Card (or anniversary). As the Heart Happiness set doesn't come with any greetings, I found the greetings from the Annual Catalog stamp set, Lovely Friends [143763] were a nice match.

I have to admit - this particular heart shape was not my favorite (the stamp set comes with lots of heart shapes & sizes). Until I looked a little closer and thought I could add words or phrases to the lines in the heart. And then...I was giddy!

These sweet pictures of my niece Lindsey and her husband Luke are some of their engagement photos. I popped them in a 6" X 8" Photo Pocket Page [144205], then created a little 4" x 3" card using the same design as the card above. I thought it was a perfect way to capture their emotions. (Note: the white mini clothespin is from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit)

Display Stamper Blog Hop Day#1: Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper

I'm excited to share some of my Display Stamper samples I created for the Stampin' Up! On Stage November 2017 event. All week-long I'm joining other Display Stampers in a Blog Hop. The projects we'll be sharing use products from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalog (starts Jan 3). Be sure to stop by each day for lots of inspiration from stampers from all over the world.

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring the gorgeous Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper features silver foil accents added to handpainted designs. Coordinating solors: Berry Burst, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Powder Pink, Rich Razzleberry, silver foil, Whisper White.

In addition, you'll find some elements from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. Look for the tassel, flower die cut and vellum/silver leaf die cut.

Floral Happy Birthday card:

A fun color block layout.
(2) 1-3/4" squares and (2) 1-3/4" x 3" rectangles.
Greeting is from the Cake Soriee stamp set.
Love the font used in this set!

9-Square Quilt Card:

If you're a follower of mine, you'll know that this is one of my favorite layouts and a fun way to show off DSP patterns
Adhere (9) 1" squares to 3-1/4" panel.
Also new, the Silver Baker's Twine.
