Today I'm sharing a card I made with the last chance Regal Winter Suite collection of products.

I love the way this card turned out. The Wild Wheat and Night of Navy colors are gorgeous together, don't you think?

How'd She DO That? Sending a Hug card

Stamps/Bundles: Regal Flora Bundle with dies (LAST CHANCE)
Paper:
- Basic White Thick (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Basic White (4" x 5-1/4", scraps for sentiment, flowers, leaves)
- Wild Wheat (3-1/4" x 4")
- Nigh of Navy (3/8" x 4-1/4")
- Regal Winter Designer Series Paper (1-1/2" x 4") - LAST CHANCE
- Regal Distressed Specialty Designer Series Paper (2" x 3-1/2" for large label die cut)
Ink: Wild Wheat, Night of Navy
Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Gold Twisted Thread, Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots, Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

Adhere DSP to bottom of Wild Wheat piece, then to center of white panel and then to folded card base.
On white scraps, stamp as follows (die cut flowers/leaves, fussy cut sentiment):
- flower trio & single flower = Wild Wheat ink
- leaf & sentiment = Night of Navy ink
- leaf spray = Wild Wheat & Night of Navy inks (use corner of ink pads to selectively ink stamp - use lightest color first)
- Arrange die cuts onto Specialty DSP label die cut as shown.
Adhere sentiment to center of Night of Navy strip using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then adhere strip to label flowers. Adhere entire piece to card aligning Night of Navy strip to top edge of Wild Wheat DSP.
Tie a bow into thread and adhere with a Glue Dot. Attach embellishment dots to flower centers.

- Thick Basic White (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
- Basic White (3-1/2" square to die cut largest Stylish Shapes circle die)
- Fresh Freesia (3-1/2" x 3-3/4" die cut with your favorite embossing folder, 4" x 5-1/4")
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green
Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies, Small Blending Brushes, Iridescent 1/2" Striped Trim, Iridescent Faceted Gems, Stampin' Seal, Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

The coloring for this card came together really quick by using Blending Brushes.
I wanted a soft color for the flowers/leaves. Even though the colors I used fairly light colors, when inking Blending Brushes the ink can transfer darker than you might think.
It's best to lightly tap brush to ink pad and then tap off some ink on scratch paper first before adding to the flowers.
Practice a little bit and you'll get what you're looking for.

Bring a little bit of your card to the inside.
I don't think I play with Blending Brushes enough, as I really like the way this turned out. Will have to reach for them more often

Quick & Cute Eden's Garden Sending Hugs Card

Today I'm sharing a Quick & Cute (QC) card I made using the new Eden's Garden Collection of products.

How'd She DO That? Eden's Garden QC card

Stamps/Bundles: Eden's Garden (bundle with Eden Dies and save 10%)
Paper:
- Soft Succulent (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base; scrap for leaf die cut)
- Basic White (4" x 5-1/4"; scrap for punch)
- Evening Evergreen (scrap for leaf die cut)
- Ever Eden Designer Series Paper (1" x 4")
Ink: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent
Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Paper Snips, Eden Dies, Label Me Fancy Punch, Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon, Garden Gems Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

The key to making this layout work is the positioning of the large floral image. Notice that it's stamped not only all the way to the left edge, but slightly off the edge as well. This makes it looks more visually interesting.
Use Paper Snips to create a banner shape in the end of the strip of DSP.
When adhering sentiment shape use Stampin' Dimensionals with both leaf die cuts attached to the back of it.
The coordinating Garden Gems add the finishing touch

I made 19 of these cards for a swap last month and I love the way they turned out.
