CASE of Monday: Medley Mix Color Change

Today I'm sharing a card I CASEd from the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog (pg 57). It features the Medley Mix stamp set.
What is CASE?
- In card making, CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything.
- It is a term used to describe the process of taking inspiration from elsewhere to create your own project.
- My favorite place to get inspiration is Stampin' Up!'s catalogs.
- Find your favorite project from one of our fabulous catalogs. Maybe you like the layout, color combo or even just the focal point. Then create away!
- Remember, if you find inspiration from someone else, be sure to give credit.
For this card, I layout really jumped out at me. I made a few changes to make it my own...colors and added All About Autumn 6x6 Designer Series Paper.
How'd She DO That? Medley Mix CASE card
- Stamps: Medley Mix
- Paper:
- Crumb Cake (11" x 4-1/4" card base, and scrap for two X punch outs
- Very Vanilla (scrap for 1-3/4" circle punch, scrap for X punch for sentiment)
- Early Expresso (large scrap for leaf die cut)
- All About Autumn 6x6 Designer Series Paper (scrap for two X punch outs, (3) 3-/8" x 1" strips)
- Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze
- Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Gorgeously Made Dies, Inked & Tiled Punch Pack (available the week of 11/20), Paper Snips, Iridescent Pastel Gems, Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals
DOstamping Tips:
- On Crumb Cake scrap, stamp two "stitched" X's and cut with punch. Arrange with the two DSP punched X's onto folded card base as shown above - adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Ink up circle image, half with Pumpkin Pie and half with Cajun Craze. Stamp onto Very Vanilla scrap and cut with 1-3/4" Circle Punch.
- Use Paper Snips to cut a banner shape into one end of the three small strips of DSP. Adhere behind circle as shown. Then adhere to card where shown.
- Strategically place glue dots to back of leaf die cut and adhere to circle as shown.
- On Very Vanilla X punch out, stamp sentiment. Then trim off top and bottom. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Attach gems where shown.
- NOTE: if you don't have the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper, use color cardstock instead.
