More I'll Bee Yours Paper Pumpkin Aternative Ideas

I'm exited to share my last three Paper Pumpkin I'll Be Yours samples with you today. They were featured on the Paper Pumpkin Facebook Live on Tuesday. So, now can share them.

153628 I'll Bee Yours Refill Kit* - (January 2020)

My first alternative idea only uses items from the kit. Both the 3" square card and the "treat" bag. My favorite thing about this project is the way the heart shows both on the front of the treat bag and the card when you pull it out (clever, huh?).

How'd She DO That? Valentine card

Trim off 1" from white part of "unfolded" 3" square card...SAVE.
Stamp sentiment on the white half (below the scored line) - near left side. Also stamp trio of flowers image randomly on piece that was trimmed off. Add sequins, that adhere to bottom of card.
Insert card into bag. Adhere heart die cut to card only - using dimensionals at the top of the heart (so it slides out easily.)
Stamp sentiment on tag. Add a piece of twine, tie in a bow. Adhere to heart with glue dots. Then add sequin.
Optional: For mailing, it will fit perfectly in a Note Card Envelope size. But will also fit into our regular medium envelopes

For my next alternative project - I added a little color to the bee die cuts with Highland Heather!

How'd She DO That? Let's Bee Friends card:

Wrap twine around folded 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded card front...tie in a bow.
Stamp floral image on 1-1/4" Purple Posy square with Highland Heather ink (for three squares). Adhere to 1-1/2" Highland Heather scallop square die cuts (Layering Squares Dies). Then adhere to card with dimensionals.
Stamp bee image on backside of bee die cut with Highland Heather ink. Adhere with dimensionals. Attach Rhinestone Jewels to bees.
Stamp sentiment with Highland Heather ink.

For my last project...this fun Heart Foil Tin treat will be going to my hubby, who is a fan of Bit-O-Honey. This would also be a fun little treat for co-workers (and...Bit-O-Honey is gluten-free).

Now onto my Paper Pumpkin Gift of Fall alternative projects...

Grateful Family QC Card

If you like quick & cute cards AND prefer full-sized cards, this one is for you!

DOstamping Tips for Grateful Family QC card:

Trim the front panel from the Gift of Fall Add-On ombre card to 2-1/4" x 4". Adhere to 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" folded Thick Whisper White card base.
SAVE your "negative" die sheets (don't throw them away). Use the Sprig & Leaf Punches to cut a variety of shapes and colors.
Adhere die cuts and punched shapes to behind stamped sentiment label, and adhere to card with dimensionals.

Thanksgiving Treat Envelope

Since I used one of the Gift of Fall Add-on Note Cards, I had a leftover envelope. With such a pretty envelope, I knew I had to make something sweet!

How'd She DO That? Treat Envelope

For Treat Tag:
- Cut 2" x 3-1/2" piece of Crushed Curry with Scallop Tag Topper Punch.
- Thread twine through hole. Adhere candy with glue dots.
For Treat Envelope:
- With envelope closed (but not sealed), from the back side fold the sides over and into the center (like a gate-fold). Reopen envelope and trim away the top corners of the flap. See photo below.
- Stamp sentiment in the center panel. Slide treat tag into center section of treat holder
- Fold sides back into the center and flap down. Wrap seam binding ribbon around flap and tie in a bow.
- Stamp "enjoy" on white side of narrow label. Fold over at about 1-1/2" and adhere with a glue dot. Create small hole with Take Your Pick Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat. Attach tag to ribbon with thread and tie in a bow.

Thanksgiving Wreath Tag

Here's probably my favorite Gift of Fall project...a handmade wreath. ALL of the items used to create this project are from the kit. No extra supplies needed!

How'd She DO That? Thanksgiving Wreath Tag

Gently remove the handles from a bag. (You only need one per wreath)
Soften up the handle with your hands so it is more pliable.
Shape into a circle approximately 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" wide. Then use the long end to "weave" it in and around until it meets back where you started. Use glue dots to "seal" the ends together (reshape as necessary).
Use glue dots to adhere leaves (I placed them where the ends met).
Then use 3-pieces of twine, wrap around wreath over leaves and tie in a bow. Finish off with a sequin
Place several glue dots on back of wreath to adhere to stamped tag.

I had SO much fun creating with the Gift of Fall Paper Pumpkin kit. I still haven't yet put the kit away. But I think my favorite part about this month's kit is the Gift of Fall Add-On Note Cards & Envelopes. With SO many leftovers from the kit, there was plenty to play with to create fabulous cards.

When I first saw this kit, I felt it was too busy with too much color (for me). Having said that, I had SO much fun creating with this kit. You'll see a few creations below where I used a few of the kit's elements, yet toned them down which is more pleasing for my eye.

First up are two Note Cards made from one of the large printed tags (love it when I can get two cards from one element)!

Happy Thanksgiving Note Cards

How'd She DO That? Happy Thanksgiving Note Cards

Die cut 2-5/8" Stitched Shape Square (Merry Merlot and Pretty Peacock)
Using the 2" Circle Punch, carefully cut two circles from the printed leaves tag. Adhere one to each square. Then adhere squares to folded Whisper White Note Cards (and Envelops)
Decorate corner of square/circle with leaves dies - using glue dots
Stamp sentiments on narrow labels from kit, with coordinating colors (Merry Merlot and Pretty Peacock). Adhere with dimensionals.
Finish off with a linen thread bow and sequin.

I'm super happy with the results of these cards. I will definitely be making more of them!

Grateful Card & Treat Wrap

Here's another set of projects that I had fun creating. Both are quick & cute projects, that I know you'll enjoy creating yourself!

How'd She DO That? Grateful Stencil Card

Use one of the leaves negative pieces from the kit as a "stencil" (once you've removed all of the leaves).
- Place stencil over 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Pretty Peacock
- Use a Sponge Dauber and Versamark Ink Pad to dab ink over open spaces in the stencil, then remove.
Adhere to 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake. Then adhere to 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" folded Old Olive card base.
Stamp sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink on the white back side of a Merry Merlot circle die cut from kit. Add dimensionals to the back.
Arrange leaves with glue dots onto card, then attach sentiment. Finish off with a sequin.

How'd She DO That? Enjoy Treat Wrap

Stamp "enjoy" with Pretty Peacock ink on narrow label. Trim down to 1-1/2". Use Take Your Pick Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to create a hole in the label. Also create a hole at the opposite end of the printed leaves tag.
Wrap Tag around treat (Hostess Mini Fruit Pie).
Thread twine through both tag holes and the label, tie off in a both.
Decorate with leaves dies and sequin.

Again - I can see myself making more of both the card and the treat wrap - YUM!

Welcome to Toil & Trouble Suite Week Day 5: Double Treats!!

For day #5 of Toil & Trouble Suite week, I have a couple of treats for you! A quick and easy Spider Candy Wrap and a darling Pumpkin Takeout Treat Box!

I found some Peppermint Patties Candy with spider packaging at my local grocery store (Cub Foods) and immediately thought of the Cauldron Bubble Bundle. This little "spider wrap" took no time at all. You could make a whole pack of them and you'll be done before you know it! Great for Halloween parties, co-workers, teachers and more!

How'd She DO That? tips for Spider Candy Wrap:

Stamps: Cauldron Bubble
Paper:
- Highland Heather (2" x 5-1/2" card base, score at 2-5/8" & 2-7/8")
- Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie & Whisper White (scraps)
- Gorgeous Grape (2" x 1/4")
- Black Foil Sheets (2-1/4" square)
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
Other: Big Shot, Cauldron Framelits Dies, 1/8" Circle Handheld Punch, Spider Trinkets, Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (for web), Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals
Tip: I discovered the greeting fits on the ghost image for a fun shaped greeting! (stamp first, then die cut)

How'd She DO That? tips for Pumpkin Takeout Treat Box:

Stamps: Cauldron Bubble
Paper:
- Pumpkin Pie (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece will die cut 2 Takeout Box pieces)
- Thick Whisper White (1/4" x 2-1/4" banner)
- Window Sheet (approx 2" square - trim as needed)
- Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper (cut out pumpkin)
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Pumpkin Pie (for sponging)
Other: Big Shot, Take Out Thinlits Dies, Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (to tie off candy bag), Leaf Ribbon, Linen Thread, 2" x 8" Cellophane Bag, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tear n Tape
Non-Stampin' Up!: Gold Paper Straw (Target), Reeces Pieces
Tips:
- Cut off 1" of the straw and place on a dimensional, then adhere to one of the box tops. Then wrap Linen Tread around dimensional to hide.
- To make the linen thread look like "vines", dip in Liquid Starch and wrap around a "sucker stick" to curl them a bit.

I've been looking forward to sharing more Toil & Trouble Suite projects with you!

Today I'm kicking off a week of fun tricks, treats and cards. For day #1, I have a super quick and easy "potion" for you!

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Yes, it's Halloween, let's sing!

I whipped up a little Spider Cider treat! How fun would this be at your Halloween parties this year?! Great for school parties, co-workers and more!

How'd She DO That tips for Pop Bottle Tag:

Stamps: Labeler Alphabet

- Real Red, Early Espresso, Vellum, Whisper White (scraps)
- Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper (for 2-1/8" Stitched Shapes square)
Ink: Archival Basic Black, Real Red

Altered Lots to Love Box: Coffee Tube Holder Video

Here's another altered Lots to Love Box for you...a Coffee Tube Holder and How'd She DO That? video!

I designed the box to hold a Starbucks Via Instant coffee packet. So it called for a narrower box. With just a few adjustments, you'll have this box down pat in no time at all. AND...it only requires a half sheet of cardstock!
