QC Pick of the Patch Bundle and Them Bones DSP, plus Partial Punching Tip

Need a quick, but cute and spooky pumpkin card for Halloween? I've got you covered...take a look.

Trick or treat yourself this Halloween with the Them Bones 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper!
Use it as the perfect background for your card front or add a subtle yet gorgeously ghoulish accent piece.
Blend classic Halloween colors with fresh, modern designs.
Product colors: Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Starry Sky

DOstamping Them Bones DSP Tip:

Make 6 QC cards (or 12 if you use both sheets)!
Cut pattern paper into 4" strips. Then cut each end of each strip to 5-1/4". Perfect for card making.
NOTE: for my card, I cut them down a little further to make room for a mat, to 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"

How'd She DO That? QC Them Bones Halloween card

Stamps/Bundles: Pick of the Patch Bundle (includes punch)
Paper:
- Basic Gray (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
- Cajun Craze (scraps for pumpkin)
- Basic Black (4" x 5-1/4", scrap for stems)
- Pecan Pie (scraps for stems)
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento,
Other: Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping "Straw" Tip:

Cut an 8" length of natural ribbon (from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack)
Then cute one side edge off and pull strands away.
When you have enough strands - pile them together and tie in a knot in the middle (it doesn't have to be perfect)
I them tied it in a messy bow and adhere to the back of the partial punch with glue dots.
Substitute Linen Thread for the natural ribbon.

You might be wondering, how I got a smaller punched pumpkin? Easy, with Partial Punching!

DOstamping Partial Punching Tips:

Cut Pumpkin Pie cardstock with Pick of the Patch Builder punch
Then re-insert the pumpkin punchout back into the punch. I slid it into through the side, then pulled up the left edge so I could position the right edge into the punch where I wanted it.
It works for both sizes.
Note: for my card, I used a full-sized smaller pumpkin and a partial punched smaller pumpkin.

NOTE: I make a boo boo!

It looks like two smaller pumpkins are layered together.
That's because I got a ink spot on the first one, but it was already adhered to the card.
So I just punched another one. The shape was slightly different (that's what you get with partial punching - not exactly the same every time), but that's OK.
Just a way to cover up my mistake!

Pick of the Patch Bundle: Fun Message Delivery Crow

Ha - that title got you, right? You're thinking, is there a delivery crow in the Pick of the Patch stamp set? Take a look...

How cute is that crow delivering the Happy Halloween message? I had so much fun creating this card using the Pick of the Patch Bundle. See all of the details below.

How'd She DO That? Happy Halloween Crow card

Stamps/Bundles: Pick of the Patch Bundle (includes punch)
Paper:
- Crumb Cake (11" x 4-1/4" card base, 3/4" x 1-1/2" for sign)
- Basic White (3-7/8" x 5-1/8", scraps for pumpkin)
- Pumpkin Pie (4" x 5-1/4", scrap for pumpkin)
- Pecan Pie (scraps for stems)
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie
Other: Take Your Pick, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

Start by stamping the leaves along the bottom of the white panel with Crumb Cake ink with the Pick Of The Patch stamp set.
To stamp the "extended branch": with Pecan Pie ink, stamp the full branch first, the turn the stamp 180 degrees and stamp so the ends meet. Clever, right?
I recommend making the sign before stamping the crow, so you know where to position the crow image. Use the Take Your Pick tool and
Stampin' Pierce Mat to make holes in the sign. Thread linen thread through the holes and tie off into a over hand knot. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals and glue dot for knot.
For pumpkins: on white scrap, stamp two smaller pumpkins using Pumpkin Pie ink and Stamping Off technique. Cut out with
Pick Of The Patch Builder Punch, also cut a Pumpkin kit large pumpkin and three Pecan Pie stems.
Arrange pumpkins before stamping "vine" images with Pecan Pie ink and Stamping Off technique. Then adhere to card.
Substitute for the Speckled Dots: Use Stampin' Blends to color the white Classic Matte Dots

Seasonal Triangle Treat Pouches Video: Christmas & Halloween

Today I'm excited to share these super cute, super easy -to-make Seasonal Triangle Treat Pouches.

They feature the 6"x6" Designer Series Papers Gingerbread & Peppermint, and Cute Halloween. I also have an How'd She DO That? video too (see below)!

I'll start with a Gingerbread & Peppermint Triangle Treat Pouch...which was one of the projects for my DOstamping@Home Club this month (contact me if you're interested in joining a club)

How cute is this? Super cute!

With just a single sheet of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and Tear & Tape Adhesive, you can knock the Triangle Treat Pouches out in no time at all (as you'll see in the video below).
