I'm excited to join this talented group of stampers to share alternate ideas for Paper Pumpkin Kits. Today we're sharing the November 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Jolly Gingerbread

November Paper Pumpkin - Jolly Gingerbread

Kit contains enough supplies to create 15 gift card carriers and coordinating envelopes. (Can can also be used to design traditional holiday cards, gift tags, and other paper projects.)
Arrived in a collectible, special-edition box!
Project size: 2-1/4" x 4", Envelope size: 2-3/4" x 4-3/8"
Coordinating colors: Cinnamon Cider, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Shaded Spruce, Blushing Bride, and Whisper White

Here's a fun home décor piece I created with the Jolly Gingerbread Paper Pumpkin kit...

This is a nice little gift you can give to family and friends. Here it's shown all folded up with a belly band (for easy storage).

It's shown here from the side with the belly band off.

Open up completely and stand up on a fireplace mantel or a special shelf to show it off during the holidays.

How'd She DO That Jolly Gingerbread Home Décor:

You'll need two of the "Shaded Spruce door" gift card holders (trim off one panel from the one on the left and the "small flap" from the one on the right), and one additional gift card holder. Adhere together as shown.
For the two printed die cut houses on each end - attach a scrap of Real Red cardstock under the "star" windows, then adhere to gingerbread houses.
For the (3) center white die cut houses - stamp swirly image at top with Mint Macaron ink, and attach candy stickers.
Die cut letters from Real Red and Shaded Spruce cardstock with Playful Alphabet Dies. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then adhere to gingerbread houses.
Close by fan folding panels. Wrap Just Jade Ribbon around it and tie in a bow.
Stamp sentiment on printed die cut label with Mint Macaron ink. Use Take Your Pick tool to create a hole. Thread gold cord ( Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack) through hole and around ribbon bow and tie off in a knot.

After receiving my kit and sorting all of the pieces. This was the first idea that came to my mind. I was super excited when it all came together exactly how I saw it in my head. Love it when that happens!

Framed Art: New Fresh Florals with Layering Love

May 26, 2017

I'm finishing out Sneak Peek week with a special Framed Art piece. It features the new Fresh Florals Product Suite (coming June 1st) and the returning Layering Love stamp set. And, it's surprisingly quick and easy to make.

Fresh Florals Framed Art (5x5)

Die cut 1" x 5" strip of new Powder Pink cardstock with hearts die from Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Adhere to 1-1/4" x 5" strip of new Berry Burst cardstock. Then adhere to 5" x 5" piece of new Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.
Wrap Whisper White Bakers Twine around project and tie in a bow.
Use new 2017-2019 In Color Stampin' Write Markers (Power Pink & Berry Burst) to color greeting, and stamp on Whisper White cardstock. Die cut with 3-1/4" wide oval (Stitched Shape Framelit) and adhere to 3-1/2" wide scallop oval (Layering Ovals Framelits). Adhere to project with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Insert into a 5"x 5" frame (found at Hobby Lobby)

The Fresh Florals Product Suite features the new 2017-2019 In Colors and I predict it will be a hit. You'll definitely want to add it to your wish list for June 1st (after 12pm MT)!

Sale-a-Bration Card Tin Recipe Box

Die cut five rose shapes from Whisper White cardstock using Rose Garden Thinlits.
Place roses on tin cover to determine placement, then trim off any overhanging pieces. Adhere with Fine Tip Glue Pen. Let dry. (Tip: use an adhesive eraser to remove any unwanted adhesive)
Die cut letters from Basic Black cardstock using Large Letters Framelits. Adhere with Fine Tip Glue Pen.
Stamp "recipe cards" using Archival Basic Black ink and Labeler Alphabet

Lots of Stars in the Many Merry Stars Kit

December 17, 2014

I held a local class with Stampin' Up!'s Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit a few weeks ago (from the Holiday Supplement). We brought food to share and spent the night assembly classes and learning how to alter one as well.

The boxes themselves do take a little time to assemble, but are well worth it. I saved the decorating of my boxes until this weekend when our grandsons were over. Max and Sam had a fun time adding the decorations to them. Well I should say - Sam (5) lasted for just a few of them and then he went upstairs to make a blanket fort (smart boy!) But Max (7) and I finished them up. Lots of fun and the decorating goes fast.

Above is LuAnn putting her star boxes together. Below is Terry showing one of the many ways you could use the star boxes.

Speaking of ways to use the boxes...there are many. You can use them for...

Ornaments
Home décor
Place cards
Cards
Package decorations
The largest star can take the place of honor on your front door or on your mantel.

Here's one of mine that I'm using on a garland on my stair banister. They look really nice and I smile everytime I go up the stairs.
