• For the "fringe" die, I recommend cutting your piece of paper at least 1-1/4" by the width of your card.  When positioning the die for cutting, make sure the bottom edge of the die comes over the edge of the paper.

Stamping with the STARS #409: Trellis Card Inspiration

The DOstamperSTARS are excited to bring you another Stamping with the STARS Inspiration Hop #DOswts409.  This week we're happy to share Trellis Card Inspiration with you.

The Trellis Card is very trendy right now, thanks to it's creator Bibi Cameron.  Plus it's surprisingly easy to create.  You only need a standard 4-1/4" x 11" card base, plus a few easy cuts and you'll be on your way to a beautiful card.

How'd She DO That? Dainty Delight Trellis card

• Stamps/Bundles: Dainty Delight Bundle (includes dies)
• Paper:
  • Basic White Thick (11" x 4-1/4" card base) 
  • Old Olive (largest leave, two of stem with flowers die cuts)
  • Fresh Freesia (hydrangea die cut)
  • Highland Heather (stem with flower die cut - just need flower)
  • Crushed Curry & Early Espresso (2 full daisies, 1 half daisy, centers die cuts)
• Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento
• Other:   Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

 

DOstamping Tips:

• Prepare 4-1/4" x 11" card base.  
• From bottom of card front, trim off five 1/2" strips and two 3/8" strips

 

• Add a strip of masking paper (or painter's tape to just under front card flap, with sticky side up.
• Position first strip at the bottom over the tape.

• Add the additional four strips - with a small of amount of spacing in between each of them.

• Add a dot of liquid glue to the side of each panel (as shown)
• Then attach both 3/8" strips to create the trellis look.
• Gently remove the masking tape.

• Decorate as you wish!
• Above is what I used - the Dainty Delight Dies (included in the bundle)

 

• Note:  I weave a couple of the stems between the slates.

Announcing DOstamping 2023-2024 Annual Catalog Product Shares

I'm already hearing from some of my past Product Share participants.  You are excited to see what I'll be offering this year!

As usual, I have NEW fabulous paper, ribbon and accessories that you'll want to get your hands on.  A product share is an economical way to get a sampling of them!  And... the I Want It ALL is my most popular share!

If you're new to Product Shares...

• In a nutshell, it's like 4-8 people dividing up the cost and pieces of various collections of product (pattern paper, ribbon/trims and accessories).
• I do all of the work, by collecting the reservations and payments, then order product.  Upon receipt of the product from Stampin' Up!, I sort, cut, wrap and repackage everything for your product share to be mailed to you (it's a process).  
• It's a fabulous way to get a sampling of the new products without the cost of buying it all.
• Then you can decide on your favorites and order full packages later.

I've been doing product shares for many years and have heard from many satisfied customers on how much they like my shares.  That's due to the time I take to wrap everything up nicely so your package arrives - safe and sound.

How to Reserve a Product Share:

NOTE:  There is a process for product shares...collect reservations, send invoices via Paypal, collect payments, place the order, receive shipped order, cut and sort product, repackage product, package up your product share and mail.  The entire process takes approximately 10-12 business days after I place my order with Stampin' Up!

EMAIL ME directly at [email protected] with your product share reservation information listed below:  (Note: For multiple shares - contact me for a shipping quote...a Priority Mailing Envelope can hold quite a bit).

Please include the following information in your email:

1.  Full Name

2.  Mailing Address (United States addresses only)

3.  Indicate which share(s) you would like to reserve (see choices below)  

4.  Email for Paypal invoicing

 

When your share(s) fill, I will email a Paypal (*) invoice to you to complete the payment process.  I will then place my order with Stampin' Up!  Upon it's arrival, I will sort, cut, wrap/assemble, package and mail. The entire process can take upwards to 10-12 business days or more (barring any backorders with Stampin' Up!).

 

(*) I use Paypal for all my billing needs.  However, a paypal account is not required to make your payment.  Just an email address and credit/debit card is all you need.  When you receive my paypal invoice, you can choose to pay using your paypal account funds or by credit/debit card.  Just follow their SUPER EASY instructions to make your payment via the method that is most convenient for you.

Retiring Hues of Happiness VIDEO: Secret Lock Fun Fold Club Card

You're in store for a treat today...the Secret Lock Fun Fold card!  This was one of 3 projects I did for my [email protected] Club last summer, and want to share it with you today.

I came across this style of card on YouTube (Gerry's Craft Room).  It was more of a slimline card size and was done in portrait mode.  I loved the style of card, but wanted it sized to fit Stampin' Up! medium size envelopes.  So I put my math hat on and adjusted the measurements accordingly.

 

How'd She DO That? Secret Lock Fun Fold card

• Stamps/Bundles:  Happiness Abounds Bundle (includes Blooming Happiness Dies) - retiring

  • Granny Apple Green (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base, score at 2-1/8" and 6-3/8") 
  • Granny Apple Green (three of 3" x 4-1/4, score two of them in half at 1-1/2")
