Ever since I saw this trick on how to "stretch" out the length of a punched shape, I've been making a few cards using the technique. What a clever idea, don't you think?

DOstamping Drapery Fold Card Tutorial:
First, adhere 2-1/4" square to bottom right corner of white panel.
Put a pencil mark at 1-1/4" down from the top of the right edge.
From bottom of 2" score line, cut diagonally up to the 1-1/4" pencil mark on the right edge.
From left edge, valley fold, then mountain fold, repeating to the end (folding over to the left side).
Burnish folds with a bone folder and adhere to card as shown.
Add a strip of Tear and tape across the very top of the folded piece and adhere the bottom of the 3/4" strip of Moody Mauve to the adhesive.
Wrap the coming soon (9/4)Blackberry Bliss & Gold 1/2" Texture Ribbon around panel and tie in a knot on the left edge.
Tuck in some Bough Punch cut outs (from scraps) - adhere with glue dots.
Stamp sentiment on Moody Mauve scrap and cut with Labeled With Love Punch. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals on the upper half of label.
Finish off with the lovely 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots.

One of the things my DOstamperSTARSTeam have been doing this month is a Designer Series Paper Creative Challenge. Each month, I put together a series of creative challenges for us and this month we focused on paper.
One of the challenges is a DSP Case, find a project in the annual catalog using Designer Series Paper and copy the layout. A box on page 40 caught my eye and this was the perfect time to case it.
Instead of a box, I made a card using the beautiful Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (15% on this month!).
How'd She DO That? Perennial Lavender card
Stamps: Layering Leaves
Paper:
Crumb Cake (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
Pretty Peacock (3-3/4" x 4-1/4" - die cut only the 3-1/2" edges with 3-3/8" x 4-3/4" Deckled Rectangle die)
Lost Lagoon (scrap for )
Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (3" x 4-1/4, two in different patterns 1" x 4")
I feel like I came across a really cool trick when I did a partial die cut using the Deckled Rectangles dies. You could utilize this trick when cutting 1, 2 or 3 sides. Give it a try!
For the sentiment, I trimmed the hexagonshape first, then stamped.
Don't forget to get inspired by Stampin' Up!'s packaging ideas. They often translate well into card layouts!

Today I'm sharing one of my DOstamping@Home Club projects, from earlier this year. My virtual club is an every other month club that includes 3 pre-packaged projects that you'll stamp and assemble at home. For more information, click here.
The card is super cute motion card, called Swing & Sway.
This Bee My Valentine Bundle and Bee Mine Designer Series Paper whimsical card features a charming bee that swings and sways when you move the card side-to-side. It's heartfelt message, "you're as sweet as honey", is great for making someone smile.
How'd She DO That? Bee Mine Swing & Sway card
Stamps/Bundles: Bee My Valentine Bundle- includes Bee Builder Punch (last chance for 10% bundle savings)
Paper:
Daffodil Delight (11" x 4-1/4" card base, scrap for bee body punch)
Basic White (scrap for bee wings/antennae punch, 4" x 5-1/4") for inside
Sweet Sorbet (scrap for small heart bee punch)
Petal Pink (3/4" x 4" sentiment, 1-5/8" x 4" inside)
Window Sheet (5/8" x 3")
Bee Mine Designer Series Paper (1" x 5-1/4" honeycomb, 3" x 5-1/4" small bees, 1-1/4" x 4" honey jars) - Last Chance
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Sweet Sorbet
Stampin' Blends: Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sorbet
Other: Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals, (1/2" circle punch or handheld 1/4" punch)
DOstamping Tips:
Adhere honeycomb & small bees DSP to folded card base.
Use a small circle punch/die to cut a hole near the top of the 5/8" x 3" piece of window sheet. (options: 1/4" handheld punch - shown above, 1/2" circle punch or "hole" die from Tailor Tags dies).
On 3/4" x 4" Petal Pink strip, stamp sentiment. Turn over and place Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on ends and center. Loop the window sheet hole over the center dimensionals (can use regular sized dimensional if used 1/2" circle punch). Then adhere to card where shown. Window sheet strip should be able to swing & sway loosely.
Stamp and assemble bee parts with Glue Dots. Use Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker to make "cheeks". Adhere to window sheet with Stampin' Dimensionals (trim off excess window sheet, if necessary). Adhere Sweet Sorbet heart punch out with glue dot (at top of heart only - so it doesn't stick to the card).
Color (3) small Iridescent Pearls with Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blends Marker and attach where shown.
Note: This card is a modification of a Swing & Sway style card shared by Susan Campfield.
Don't forget to bring the outside in:
On white inside panel, stamp sentiment and "bee" lines with black ink and heart with Sweet Sorbet ink.
Adhere honey jars DSP to Petal Pink and adhere to stamped panel. Then adhere to inside of card.
What a fun and creative way to express your affection to someone who is sweet as honey. My husband received this card and thought it was one of the best cards I made. When you can impress the guys - that's a good card!!

It's day #4 - last day of my Easy Garden Walk Layouts, 2-Squared
These were the first set of cards I made with the Garden Walk Suite Collection - back in August. Not sure why it took me so long to share them.
It uses just two pieces of Garden Walk Designer Series Paper (4" x 3", 2-3/4" x 3). With all of the lovely patterns in the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper, it was hard to stop making all kind of different combinations!
The following cards use the same layout, but features the So Sincere stamp set for the sentiments. I found that several fit the Modern Oval Punch - yay!
