It's that time of year again - Travel Time! And just in time...Stampin' Up! has a line of travel products in their Summer Mini Catalog. Today, I'm sharing a cute little photo wallet to share your Travel Memories, showcasing Stampin' Up! Travel Journal Designer Series Paper.
This little Tag Wallet only measures 3" x 4-1/4". But open it up and WOW... it will hold up to 12-13 pictures!
NOTE: This project uses a couple of punches that will be retiring. The Tag Corner punch (used on the front and inside flaps, as well as the inside tags). The arrows are created with the My Way punch. I'm gonna miss these punches! As of 6/19 - they are still available for purchase.
Dawns Stamping Tips
1. For the arrow (My Way punch) - I punched the largest arrow out of both Pumpkin Pie and lightweight chipboard. Adhered the two together and then attached it to the wallet with a brad. It swings back and forth to open the wallet.
2. Lookie here...the word "travel" was stamped using the new set "Rough Type Alphabet" (from the Summer Mini Catalog). I lined them on a clear block and stamped it all together. LOVE IT!! Huge time saver!
3. When placing the letters on your clear block, start right to left.

Today I'm sharing a project my Hedgehog Scrapbook Club Members last month. They each made this adorable Springtime Mini Album Tin. Some received Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper (as shown in tin below) and others received Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper to make theirs.
Supplies: Fancy Flower stamp set, Versamark Ink, Orchid Opulence, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink & Whisper White Cardstock, Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper, Punches: Corner Rounder, Scallop Border, Fancy Flower, 2-Step Bird, Fluerettes II, Sending Love Epoxy Brad, Pewter Jumbo Eyelets, Pretty in Pink Striped Ribbon, Paper Trimmer w/Scoring Blade, Embossing Buddy, Clear Embossing Powder, Powder Pal Tray, Heat Tool
I love the detail of the embossed flowers on the cover of the tin. See my tips below for embossing on metal/tin!
Dawns Stamping Tips - Embossing on Tin
1. I used LOTS of powder from an Embossing Buddy (#103083, $5.95) to remove static from the tin.
2. Then stamp, add clear embossing powder, melt with heat tool and let cool
3. After cooling, remove excess Embossing Buddy powder with a swiffer sheet

Today I want to introduce you to one of my DOstamperSTARS, Jenny Maetzold. Jenny would describe herselft as a hobby demonstrator. She's been stamping and scrapbooking for years (longer than me) and was a club member of mine for a few years. Now as a demonstrator, she has her own club and is enjoying the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
At each of our DOstamperSTARS get-togethers, I encourage everyone to bring something to share (business or creative idea). At our March meeting Jenny shared some wonderful creative ideas with us and I just have to share her with you!

This framed Scrapbook Art is such a beautiful piece of art and a beautiful story too! Jenny shared with us that for each of her kids, she takes a picture of her husband holding them high in the air with one hand. As his father did to him and his grandfather did to his father (as shown in the pictures in the frame). Awww-isn't that an adorable story that definitely needs to be preserved!
I was touched by Jenny's sharing at this meeting, as I am with her friendship! She's been very sweet in sharing with me what it means to her to be able to attend our meetings. With a husband, four children and many committments, it's something she looks forward to each month. I get misty-eyed thinking that I'm able to provide such meaningful and appreciated events for my downline friends. But I couldn't do it without the support of my downline and their contributions to each of our fabulous meetings! From sharing, display boards, creative and business presentations, helping with setup and clean up, DOstamperSTARS are the BEST!!
