Today I'm sharing a #simplestamping card featuring the Adventurous Sky stamp set from the Take to the Sky Suite Collection.

I haven't stamped in a few weeks. When that happens, I find the best way to start again is with some simple stamping and a sketch. This card fits that bill!

How'd She DO That? Adventurous Sky Flying By card

Stamps/Bundles: Adventurous Sky
Paper:
- Boho Blue (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
- Basic White (3-5/8" x 5", 3/4" x 2" sentiment)
- Night of Navy (3-3/4" x 5-1/8", 1/2" x 3-5/8")
- Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (1-1/4" x 3-5/8")
Ink: Night of Navy
Other: Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Stampin' Seal, Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

Get inspired by using the Card Templates shown on page 22 in the new Stampin' Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.
I used the 5th card in the bottom row as my inspiration for this card.
I changed it up a little and added a couple of layers to make it my own.

Darling Details Day #7: Two Christmas Cards; Simple, Stepped Up!

Welcome to Day #7 of my Creative Connections presentation of the Darling Details Bundle.

I took a short break from blogging while I was at a crafting retreat this past weekend. Lots of fun, food, fellowship and crafting was had! I made 16 projects - woohoo! Most with products from the upcoming September - December Mini Catalog (coming September 6th). Which I'll be sharing later.

In the meantime, today I'm sharing two Christmas Cards. One is a clean and simple card, the other a stepped-up version.

The Clean & Simple card is pretty straight forward. See how...

DOstamping Tips:

On 4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla panel, stamp sentiment first.
Then stamp flower & leaves/greenery images as shown.
With Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker, color in berries in the sentiment image and add dots for more berries.
This card could easily be mass-produced for your holiday cards!

The Stepped-Up card has a few more steps, but a wonderful result! See how:

DOstamping Tips:

Place the large frame die in the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla panel and die cut using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. NOTE: if some of the little "dots" from the die cut need a little help releasing, use the Take Your Pick tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to remove the rest them.
On center cut-out piece, stamp the sentiment where shown. Use Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to move color around a little on the leaves and pine bough images.
Place the stamped center piece back into the large frame die cut. Stamp flower & leaves/greenery images as shown, stamping onto both pieces at the same time. Separate the two pieces.
Adhere stamped frame piece to folded card base. Then adhere stamped center piece to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
With Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker, color in berries in the sentiment image and add dots for more berries.
Tie a bow into the gold trim. Adhere with a glue dot.

Simple Stamping with Country Bouquet

Today I'm sharing a card that features #simplestamping using the Country Bouquet stamp set.

This card turned out exactly how I had it pictured in my mind. That doesn't always happen. But when it does, it makes my heart happy!

How'd She DO That? Country Bouquet Simple card

Stamps/Bundles: Country Bouquet
Paper:
- Basic White Thick (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Basic White (4" x 5-1/4", scraps for hearts & leaves)
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mossy Meadow
Other: Paper Snips, 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine (Sweet Sorbet), 2022-3024 In Color Decorative Dots , Stampin' Seal, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals

DOstamping Tips:

Stamp and cut out two large hearts, one small heart and two leaves - using Sweet Sorbet & Mossy Meadow inks
Arrange and adhere the 3 hearts together with Mini Glue Dots.
Place hearts in lower corner of white panel (don't adhere yet) - them stamp small hearts images where shown. Move hearts out of the way to stamp the leafy images.
Adhere hearts to card with Stampin' Dimensionals and tuck in leaves under the hearts, adhering with Glue Dots.
Adhere bow with glue dot and place dots where desired.

Stamping with the STARS #392: Easy Sketch with Celebrate Everthing

You are gonna love today's sketch. It's super easy and you could even use up some scraps.

I just received the Host Gift, Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper (159913). This paper can be easily missed (and you don't want to miss it!). It's shown over pages 86-87 (at the top) in the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog.

How'd She DO That? Celebrate Everything card

Stamps: Trees for Sale
Paper:
- Lovely Lipstick (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Basic White (1" x 3-3/4")
- Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper (2-1/4" x 4", 1-3/4" x 4") FREE Stampin' Rewards!

Other: Glitter Washi Four Pack, Stampin' Seal & Stampin' Dimensionals

I couldn't decide with pattern I liked the best, so I made two cards.

DOstamping Tips:

Take a closer look at the Glitter Washi Tape. It's not just pretty; it's also a pretty adhesive.
- 4 rolls: 1 each of 4 colors
- 1/4" wide, 5 yards each
- Colors: Black, Highland Heather, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie
Apply it to the bottom of the sentiment strip first, then stamp your sentiment.
Pretty, right?!

How'd She DO That? Basket of Strawberries card:

Soft Succulent 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock [155776]: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base

Night Of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad [147110]

DOstamping Tips:

Trim off the “awning” from the cart die cut (flip upside down to use as a “basket”)
Trim the large strawberries/blueberries and (3) small strawberry/blueberries die cuts apart.
Arrange all the trimmed die cuts together to form a basket of strawberries.
Eyeball where basket will land on the white panel, then stamp sentiment with Night of Navy ink.

How'd She DO That? Thinking of You card:

Little Delights meets Cute Halloween QC cards!

Today I have more Little Delights cards for you, featuring the Cute Halloween 6x6 Designer Series Paper!

A couple things that I love about the Little Delights stamp set...

It features both an image and sentiment for several upcoming holidays AND birthday too!
The set is perfect if you're a beginning stamper AND if you need a quick & cute card (QC).

- Basic Black, Basic Gray, Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo (5-1/4" x 5-1/2" card base - sore at 4-1/4" - leaves 1" folding edge)
- Basic White, Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather (scraps for Label Me Lovely Punch)
- Basic White (4" x 5-1/4" for inside)
- Cute Halloween 6x6 Designer Series Paper (4" x 5-1/4", 3/4" x 5-1/2" from backside)

DOstamping Tips:

The 4" x 5-1/4" DSP piece attaches on one side under the left 1" flap. Love this, as both sides can be seen!
Bring a little of the outside in. Stamp bats "flying" on the inside panel

I had so much fun making these cards. The super cute Halloween characters make my smile! I can't decide which one is my favorite, but I'm leaning towards the pumpkin & cats card. How about you...which one is your favorite?
