Holly and Jolly Rub-on's: Merry & Bright Holiday Card

Don't stamp?  No problem!  This week I'm featuring holiday cards made with Stampin' Up!'s Holly and Jolly Rub-on's.  

Stampin' Up! Rub-on's are easy to use:

• Holly and Jolly Rub-on's comes with 4 multicolored" 6x6" sheets per package: 2 sheets each of 2 designs
• Coordinates with Holiday Happiness set and Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper
• Coordinates with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Very Vanilla
• Can be used on unique, textured surfaces that are difficult to stamp on, such as glass, tin, and plastic
• Can be used on nonporous surfaces, such as glass, photos, clipboards, candles, and ribbon

For best results, cut out your Rub-On image and remove it from the backing sheet. Lay the image on a flat surface, and rub it lightly with your finger to hold it in place. Then firmly rub the image with the wooden stick included with the Rub-Ons (or use bone folder) to transfer it to your project.

Another Christmas Wreath With French Foliage

Wow - you guys are lovin' the outside-the-box French Foliage Wreath Card I shared on Wednesday.  If you liked that, you'll probably enjoy this one too.  This time, I used a different leave from the Stampin' Up! French Foliage stamp set to create my Christmas Wreath.  The greeting is from Seasonal Sentiments.

This card is another sneak peak at one of the NINE designs (4 of each = totaling 36 cards), that I'm offering at my November 13th Holiday Stamp-a-Stack! 

 

Dawn's Stamping Tips - "Stamping Off Technique"

This wreath is actually a little easier to do.  It features a stamping technique called "Stamping Off".  Using Old Olive Ink, stamp once, then without reinking...stamp again.  Then re-ink and repeat the process moving in a circle to create the wreath. 

Use the "splatter" image to stamp the "berries" with Cherry Cobbler Ink.  The Very Vanilla piece of cardstock measures 3-7/8" x 3-7/8".

Stampin' Up! Uncharted Territory

When the 2010 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog was released in July, I just had to have the new Uncharted Territory stamp set.  I don't have many masculine sets and thought it was a nice one.  However, it has sat untouched on my shelf for a couple of months, until I was inspired by a card that Jen Sannes did last month.  I love her clean and simple style, which is perfect for this set.

I did change up a few things, such as the ribbon and punch choice as well as one of the colors.  But basically it's the same card.  Thanks Jen!

Stampin' Up! Bingo Card & Big Designer Buttons!

We started off the DOstamperSTARS Camp-a-Rama last Saturday with a few rounds of Bingo...Stampin' Up! Bingo that is!  Using the new Stampin' Up! Bingo Card background stamp (#120851), Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set (#120857w or 121187c) and the super fun Big Designer Buttons - we had a blast!

 

This brand new background stamp is slightly larger image than the standard Stampin' Up! Background Stamp.  If you want the "white" edge showing all the way around - like it shows in the picture above, then cut your Very Vanilla cardstock to 5" x 6".  I then matted the Bingo Card with a piece of cardstock measuring 5-1/2" x 6-1/2".

Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set was a prize I won at the Stampin' Up! Convention in July.  It was the last prize patrol of the event.  However, my downline Jan hadn't won anything yet (and it was her first convention), so I gave it to her.  So, since she had the stamp set, she stamped all of the Jolly Bingo Bits for me - thanks Jan!!!

Then we used the new Big Designer Buttons to play the game.  There are two varieties to choose from:

Deck the Halls (121002):  Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake

Candy Cane(121718):  Garden Green, Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride, Real Red

DOstamperSTARS Quarterly Camp-a-Rama!

I was busy last week prepping for my quarterly DOstamperSTARS Camp-a-Rama!  I meet each month with my Stampin' Up! downline, but quarterly I hold a special event filled with stamping, food, presentations, games, recognition and FUN!

The space for my monthly meetings is limited, but we have some spare room in our quarterly space for additional attendees.  For this quarter's event, I opened it up to other local demonstrators (from MN).  It was so much fun!!!

Here's Katherine with her stamp set that she asked me to autograph.  I felt kinda silly doing it, but flattered just the same!  Katherine is part of my friend Kay's group...see Kay below.

Candy Countdown Calendar Kit:  everyone made a box and we hung them, so we could get a picture.  Then they got to take their box home.  These are SO adorable!!

Here's Shelley dishing up lunch.  She is an amazing cook and so spoils us.  We had her Tex Mex Chicken...take a look.

And Dessert!!!  She actually started the day with muffins, scones and beverages too!  Like I said - we're spoiled!!
