Last month I received a Thank You card from Stampin' Up! for sharing ideas on uses for the Stamparatus. Today's card features the new Abstract Impressions stamp set and several new colors.

This card was stamped entirely with the Stamparatus. I see the hinge-step (the horizontal lines) and 2-step stamping, both are perfect uses for the Stamparatus.

Accented Blooms Note Card & Envelope

Lately I've been receiving several inquiries about the cards I made during my $1 Million Milestone trip to the Stampin' Up! home office. It was originally posted here. So I thought I'd answer them today.

I was so excited to play with with the Accented Blooms stamp set, as it's one of favorites from the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. Plus to stamp with Shelli and Sara, that made it even more fun!

One of the questions I've been getting about the card is...did we color the larger flowers white? That answer is no - it seems to be an optical illusion. Though - I'm not sure why. But it's a happy accident (gotta love that!)

How'd She DO That tips for Accented Blooms Note Card:

Stamps: Accented Bloms
Paper:
- Color (11" x 4-1/4" card base) or (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
- Very Vanilla (scap for punching)
Ink: Gray Granite (for stamping large floral image), Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie
Other: Tailored Tag Punch, Aqua Painter & Stampin' Dimensionals
Tips:
1. We used the Stamparatus for stamping the large flower image. (When I say "we", I mean my hubby.) For best results...create a template area to line up the note card away from the hinge edge.
2. For the Aqua Painter - use a drier brush and a light touch for coloring.

Stamparatus Blog Hop: Wreath Technique & Video

Welcome to the Stamparatus Blog Hop! I'm excited to be part of this hop where Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world are sharing techniques, ideas and inspiration for using the Stamparatus. Some of you already have the Stamparatus, so you can implement these ideas right away. For the rest, the Stamparatus will officially be released in the upcoming Stampin' Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog - coming June 1.

If you're not familiar with the Stamparatus, it a brand new tool that helps you perfectly align stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and precisely, and get complete ink coverage. It's perfect for the any stamper, new or experienced...and perfect for the technique I'm sharing today.

I'm sharing a wreath technique that is both fun and easy! With an easy-to-make template, you can create patterns that will come together to complete a wreath!

How'd She DO That Stamparatus Wreath card measurements:

Whisper White Thick (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
Whisper White (4" x 5-1/4" , scrap for 2-7/8" Layering Square Die and scraps for 1" Circle & Classic Label Punches)
Pool Party (3" x 3" and scrap for 1-1/8" Scallop Circle Punch)
any color cardstock 6" x 6" for Wreath Template (I used Very Vanilla)

I have to admit...I'm watercolor challenged. But with these watercolor ink crystals, all you have to do is sprinkle them directly on water-washed paper and watch the colors burst! I can DO that and you can too! Be sure to watch the How'd She DO That? video below to see how.

Wildflower Friend Note Card

Attach Wildflower Wishes stickers on 3-3/8" x 4-7/8" white panel.
Wrap Crushed Curry Solid Baker's Twine around panel and tie in a bow (on the left)
Stamp friend with ink from kit (Garden Green), cut out with Tailored Tag Punch. Adhere to panel.
Adhere completed panel to folded Note Card

Celebrate Your Awesomeness Note Card

Use Stamparatus to stamp "celebrate" in various colors on 3-3/8" x 4-7/8" white panel (Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo & Tempting Turquoise). Adhere to folded Note Card (& Envelopes)
Stamp small sentiment with black ink on 3" x 1/2" strip of Daffodil Delight - adhere to card.
Attach Basic Rhinestone Jewels

Ghirardelli Chocolate Egg Wrap

Stamp friend on 2" x 5/8" piece of Whisper White with Tempting Turquoise ink. Banner shape end. Punch 1/8" hole in other end.
Use patterned flower shape (from either thank you or friend) - fold in half. Punch 1/8" hole through top of both sides.
Thread Crushed Curry Solid Baker's Twine through Petal Passion Embellishment, tag and folded piece and tie in a bow.
Insert candy!

Next up is one for the gentlemen, using products from the True Gentlemen Suite! This card comes together fast with a "z" fold. The twist is to adhere the fold down (just the front fold), so the Tailor Tag punch out supports the left flap.

This was one of the cards at my last Stamp-a-Stack class earlier this month. We used the new Stamparatus for perfect stamp placement of the inside greeting. I heard squeals of delight throughout the event as people used the Stamparatus (coming in the next Annual Catalog). I love that this product makes for happy stampers!!

The ordering periods for the 2018 occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure begins at 3:00 AM (MT).
Ordering will be unavailable from midnight to 3:00 AM (MT) while we transition our systems to the new catalog and brochure. Ordering will be restored no later than 3:00 AM (MT).
Sale-A-Bration runs through March 31, 2018
Occasions catalog runs through May 31, 2018.
