OK, so...I'm having trouble deciding which one of these Best Dressed Designer Series Paper cards I like the best. Maybe you can help.

Here's the first one I made...

For this one, I really like the combination of the Purple Posy and Blackberry Bliss.

As it only requires a half a sheet of the Best Dress 6x6 Designer Series Paper, I thought I would use up the other half, just with different coordinating colors

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the color Petal Pink. Having said that, I'm completely in love with the Petal Pink 5/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon. It ties so beautifully and makes a perfect bow! And with this DSP, the Petal Pink does tie it all together.

And the sentiment from the Dressed to Impress stamp set is just perfect - don't you think?

Now you can see why I can't decide which one I like the best.

Let's Make a Card: Best Dressed Suite Fun Fold

Last month my STARS team did a fun activity called Let's Make a Card. We sent "card guts" to someone and the recipient had to make a card with only those supplies, but could add one additional item.

My "card guts" were from Connie, which included a piece of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. She had also pre-cut the Blackberry Bliss card base into a fun fold (see measurements below). Above is what I made with it.

And, this is what she sent me...

My additional item was the new Gilded Gems (from the Ornate Garden Suite).

How'd She DO That? Best Dressed Fun Fold Card

Stamps/Bundles: Dressed to Impress Bundle (with All Dressed Up Dies)
Paper:
- Blackberry Bliss (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base, score at 4-1/4". Trim off 1" from each edge of the card front only)
- Whisper White (3-1/4" x 4", scraps for Label Me Lovely Punch & flower die cuts)
- Best Dressed Designer Series Paper (3-1/4" x 4", two of 7/8" x 4", optional: 3/4" strips for inside)
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive
Other: All Dressed Up Dies, Gilded Gems, Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, SNAIL, Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals

I never made a fun fold card like this, but it was really fun to make! I highly recommend giving it a try.

DOstamping Tips:

Take a closer look at the flowers, stamped with Blackberry Bliss and blended with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
I added Old Olive to the leaves (with glitter brush).
And finally the Gilded Gems for bling!

This is the first time I've had a chance to play with the Best Dress Suite and it won't be the last! I also don't think it will be the last time the DOstamperSTARS will be playing "Let's Make a Card"!

Stamping with the STARS #334: Easter Bunny Gnome Punch Art

What is punch art?

Using your punches &/or die shapes in ways to create something outside of it's intended use. Think flowers, animals, insects, food, holiday icons and more.

Last month I shared a Valentine's Day Gnome and you guys were lovin' it! So I thought an Easter Bunny Gnome would be fun to do.

How'd She DO That? Easter Bunny Gnome Punch Art:

Stamps: Timeless Tulips
Paper:
- Purple Posy (11" x 4-1/4", scrap for small bloom punch)
- Whisper White (scraps for beard - tropical dies and sentiment
- Daffodil Delight (scraps for nose - 1/2" circle punch, ears - Daisy Punch)
- Highland Heather (scrap for hat - pine tree punch)
- Mint Macaron (scrap for feet - perennial flower punch
- Best Dressed Designer Series Paper (2" x 4-1/2", 1/2" x 4-1/4")
Ink: Highland Heather, Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker
Punches: Pine Tree, 1/2" Circle, Perennial Flower, Daisy, Small Bloom (FREE Sale-a-Bration item)
Other: Tropical Dies, Paper Snips, Gold Faceted Gems, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Foam Adhesive Strips

DOstamping Tips:

Click here for tips on building a "basic" Gnome.
For the sentiment - stamp on scrap of white and cut out the words you want to use. Adhere with Foam Adhesive Strips.
For the flower - cut each petal in half, then scrunch up into a ball. Unfold and adhere with Stampin' Dimensional. I thought it resembled the flowers in the DSP.
For the bunny ears - cut off 3 petals from the Daisy shape. Adhere behind the hat with Mini Glue Dots
