I'm here with the last of the Rose Wonder Bundleswaps I received or display boards from events I attended. With stunning rose images and a variety of sentiments, the Rose Wonder Bundle it's a good choice for many occasions. I think the "what a beautiful blessing you are to me" is a perfect sentiment for the soon-to-be-here Mother's Day (May 8th - only a month away). Here's a couple of cards that featured that greeting, as well as other greetings from the Rose Wonder Bundle.
Here's more Rose Wonder Bundle inspiration:
If you're like me and your Mother has passed away, you might be thinking..."I don't have anyone to send a Mother's Day card too." However, I was recently reminded by one of my customers that there are many people in your life that you could send a Mother's Day's card to. She was very passionate about it and she convinced me that I have definitely overlooked this special holiday. #imbringingmothersdayback!
Your daughter (or daughter-in-law) who is a mother to your grandkids!
Your friends who are mothers
Someone who is a mother-figure to you
Of course, you're own mother, grandmother, aunt
Teachers who are mothers
If you have someone who is a mother in your life, you should consider sending them a card on their special day!
Today I'm featuring some of the stunning swaps I received using the Rose Wonder Bundle. The bundle includes the Rose Wonder stamp set and coordinating Rose Garden Thinlet Dies...bundled together to save you 15%!
One of my favorites is this card created by DOstamperSTAR, Robin Anderson. It's a little hard to see in the photo, but Robin used the Wink of Stella Clear to brush on a beautiful shimmer to her card, making it a stunner!
Another favorite is Julie's clever stencil card. She used the Rose Garden die to create a stencil and added color in the negative spaces. Then removed the stencil to create this beautiful card!
Meg used the Baby Wipe Technique to stamp her roses. Add drops of ink onto baby wipes to create a custom ink pad!
The Occasions Catalog Rose Wonder Bundleis one of those stamp sets and dies that you can't go wrong with. This is the set you need for life's major events—birthdays, weddings, sympathy. And for the everyday—thanks, friendship, encouragement. Make a stack to keep on hand and you'll always be prepared!

Today's Thoughts and Prayers card was offered at my local Card Buffet class last night. It was a very popular card, so I'm thinking the ladies really liked it. I think that was because it was quick and easy, but also looked great! Another reason this is such a nice card is because it's nice and flat, yet features a lot of visual texture. Makes it great for mailing.
This card features a Reverse Masking Technique that I demonstrated for them. Below are step by step instructions for you. I also have a "How'd She DO That?" video.
The Bakers Twine is adhered with a glue dot. Also comes in Gold & Silver (used here).
Reverse Masking Tip:
Create "reverse mask" using Stampin' Up! Oval Framelits (cut oval from piece of 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" cardstock (save oval cut out for a future project)
Lay mask onto vanilla panel of same size
Stamp Woodgrain image with Sahara Sand ink
Remove mask, then stamp tree & greeting images
NOTE: if you have trouble getting a full image inside the oval window, try using a Stampin' Pierce Matwhich can help improve the stamping to get "inside the window" - see it demonstrated in the video below.
Even though today's Quick & Quick (QC) Flowering Flourishes card has a calming feel to it, you could easily change that by switching your colors and greeting for a more cheery tone. For me...I'm was in need of several sympathy, get well and thinking of you cards and this one will do quite nicely.
FLOWERING FLOURISHES: The flower image may not look familiar, as it's just a small portion of a larger stamp (as shown in the lower left corner). This stamping trick of "selective stamping" is one I forget to consider. But it's one I need to remember, as it gives me a whole new outlook on my collection of stamps.
COLOR CHOICE: I chose a set of blue monochromatic colors
FAQ: What other programs can I use them with? Any program that allows graphics files (.png), can use the digital downloads and DVD/CD content discs. Works with Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. Plus, works with most emails, Word, Open Office, Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Windows, Microsoft Publisher and Paint, and many more!
Unfortunately, I've been needing some Sympathy Cards lately. With the Stampin' Up! stamp set, Love & Sympathy, I can create what I need quickly. I got out my lovely Bravo Burgundy ink and card stock, which I hadn't used in a very long time. Matched it with Soft Suede and was able to produce 3 quick cards.
