It's Two For Tuesday (TFT) again, where I share a quick & cute card along with a stepped up 2nd version using the A Good Day stamp set.

Anyone receiving a project with the cute images from the A Good Day stamp set, will definitely have a good day. And you will, too, crafting with these adorable animals! They are designed to coordinate with the new Mini Embroidery Hoops, which include 8 hoops, 4 each of 2 sizes: 1-1/2", 1-3/4" (outside diameter)

Two for Wednesday: Mr & Mrs Cards

It's Two For Wednesday (I'm kind of making a week of it!) Today I have a couple of wedding cards for you. One classic with Cheers to the Year stamp set and one fun with the Wonderful Life stamp set!

How'd She DO That tips for Mr. & Mrs. Cheers Card:

Stamps: Cheers to the Year
Paper:
- Smoky Slate (11" x 4-1/4" card base)
- Whisper White (for 2" punch)
- Vellum (4" x 5-1/2")
Ink: Smoky Slate, Archival Basic Black
Other: 2” Circle, Foil Snowflakes, Silver 3/8” Metallic-Edge Ribbon, Black Mini Sequin Trim, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals & Stapler
Tips:
- Stamp "Mr & Mrs" diagonally across the front of the folded card. If needed, use a ruler as a guide.
- Adhere Foil Snowflake to Vellum. Staple ribbon & sequin trim to snowflake & vellum.
- On back side of vellum, add snail adhesive only where the snowflake is, then adhere to stamped card front.

Painted Autumn Suite Week: Painted Harvest Wreaths

Continuing with Painted Autumn Suite Week - it's Two For Tuesday (TFT).

The Painted Harvest stamp set is not just for autumn. Like I said yesterday, it can be used throughout the whole year, making it a very versatile set. For today's cards, I used the "sunflower" images to create wreaths. I have two "wreath" cards for you ...a wedding card & a holiday card.

You might be surprised to discover what colors I used to stamp the wreaths, as it surprised me too. But after playing with a few color combinations, I found these two colors matched the coordinating Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper the best...

Painted Harvest Wreath Tips

Stamp large flower with Lemon Lime Twist ink. Re-ink, turn stamp 180 degrees and stamp again.
Stamp 2nd flower image with Soft Sky ink (that's right!). Re-ink, turn stamp 180 degrees and stamp again.
I found that the double stamping created a fuller wreath.

Painted Harvest Wedding Wreath card

Adhere 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Gold Foil Sheet. Then adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Very Vanilla Card base.
Cut 2" x 4-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla with Triple Banner Punch (end result will be roughly 2" x 4"). Also banner punch 1" x 3" piece of Gold Foil Sheet.
Stamp "wreath" as described above using Painted Harvest stamp set Stamp with Versamark ink, berries (just ink 3 berries) and greeting (from Cheers to the Year stamp set). Cover with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. Melt with heat tool. Adhere to gold banner piece. Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Tie a knot in a piece of 3/8" Gold Metallic Ribbon. Before pulling tight, inside a piece of Gold Mini Sequin Trim. Adhere to wreath with Glue Dot

Painted Harvest Holiday Wreath card

Substitute Real Red ink, cardstock, and 1/8" Solid Ribbon.
Add Metallic Enamel Shapes

Two For Tuesday: Card Front Builder Thinlits Birthday & Christmas

It's Two For Tuesday (TFT)! Today's cards feature the early release Card Front Builder Thinlit Dies.

As a Minnesota girl, I'm completely in love with the deer and tree images. Even though this set was designed for the holidays, it makes for a great masculine birthday card too, which was a huge hit at my class last week. Check it out!

Happy Birthday Card Front Builder

Adhere 3" x 3" piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack to 3-1/8" x 4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.
Stamp greeting (from Guy Greetings stamp set) in lower right corner with Early Espresso ink.
Wrap Linen Thread around twice and tie in a bow. Adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Early Espresso card base.
Use Big Shot and Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies to die cut trees (Garden Green) and deer (Early Espresso). Adhere to card front with SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals & Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

Two For Tuesday: Message in a Bottle

It's Two For Tuesday (TFT)! I have a couple of cards for you using the fun Message in a Bottle stamp set. This is a new stamp set this year and it's filled with whimsical sea friends, oceanic creatures and tons of punny greetings. All you need now is a bit of creativity and some wind in your hair!

Message in a Bottle - Mermaid

Adhere four 1-3/16 squares (Layering Squares Framelits Dies) to 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock (Perfect Plum, Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Sky cardstock)
Wrap Bermuda Bay 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon around panel and tie in a bow.
Adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Soft Sky card base.
On 2-1/8 Whisper White Circle (Layering Circle Framelits Dies), stamp greeting with Soft Sky ink, and mermaid with Basic Gray ink.
Use Blender Pen and Watercolor Pencils to color mermaid - (Rich Razzleberry=tail, Bermuda Bay=hat, shells). Adhere to card with card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Message in a Bottle - Boat

1-3/16" squares are nautical inspired colors = Pool Party, Real Red, Basic Gray & Night of Navy, with Pool Party Baker's Twine
Card base is Basic Gray
Stamp image with Basic Gray ink, and greeting with Night of Navy ink.
Use Watercolor Pencils - Real Red and Basic Gray to color flags

I can't get over how stinkin' cute this stamp set is! Add the fun blocks of color to communicate the theme of your card and you've got a home run! I think you'll see me using this color-block layout again.
