Little Cuties: Celebrate Easter Lamb

Today I'm sharing...a Little Cuties card to celebrate Easter. This set is super full of cuteness. Not just for babies, but birthday, Easter and more! With such adorable images, you'll find lots of ways to use this stamp set!

Little Cuties Celebrate Easter

Stamp Stripe Background stamp with Versamark Ink on lower portion of folded 4-1/" x 11" So Saffron card base. Cover with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder and melt with Heat Tool.
Cut doily in half and adhere to card (trim off excess from left edge. Apply a strip of Affectionately Yours Washi Tape above the stripes and over top edge of doily.
Die cut Pool Party cardstock with Stitched Shapes Framelits (2-5/8" square). Adhere to card.
Stamp greeting (Little Cuties stamp set) with Archival Basic Black ink on scrap of Whisper White. Die cut with Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. Adhere to right side of Pool Party square.
Stamp lamb image with Archival Basic Black ink on Shimmery White cardstock. Die cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits (2-1/8" square). Use Watercolor Pencils and Blender pen to color as follows:
- ear/bow = Daffodil Delight
- hooves/nose = Basic Gray
- ground = Early Expresso
- outline = Bermuda Bay
- Adhere to Pool Party square with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thread Whisper White Bakers Twine thru white Mini Paper Clip. Clip onto "lamb" square and tie in a bow

Sale-a-Bration: Hey, Chick Free Stamp Set

Today I'm excited to share this super cute & colorful Hey, Chick Sale-a-Bration card with you!

Why did the chicken cross the road? To deliver a handmade card to a friend - ha! These playful hens will deliver smiles all around. The "hairy" one is the cutest one of all!

You're How Old Hey, Chick card:

Add texture to 2-1/2" x 4-3/8" Night of Navy cardstock with the Hexagons Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing Folder. Attach at an angle to 4" x 5-1/4" panel of Party Animal Designer Series Paper with a stapler. Then adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Watermelon Wonder card base.
Attach two strips of Party Animal Designer Washi Tape to 2-3/8 x 3-1/4" White Shimmery cardstock.
Stamp chick image (Hey, Chick sale-a-bration stamp set) with Archival Basic Black ink and color using Aqua Painter and ink pooled in lid of ink pads as follows:
1. hair = Watermelon Wonder
2. body = Crushed Curry
3. beak & foot = Pumpkin Pie
4. ground = Chocolate Chip
5. shadow = Smokey Slate
6. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals
Stamp "words" of greeting using Labeler Alphabet with Night of Navy and Watermelon Wonder inks on scrap of white cardstock. Cut out each word and adhere with glue dots

Tasty Truck QC Card

Run Melon Mambo cardstock (3-1/2" x 4 1/4") thru the Big Shot with Confetti Texture Impressions Embossing Folder, and adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Smoky Slate cardstock.
Stamp truck and cupcake images from Tasty Truck stamp set in black ink onto Bermuda Bay cardstock (2-1/4" x 4-1/4"). Color cupcake frosting with Clear Wink of Stella and adhere to card.
Cut a piece of Silver Sequin Trim, Melon Mambo Ribbon and Smoky Slate Ribbon, tie them together and staple to card. Cover staple with a piece of Pop of Pink Washi Tape.
Stamp sentiment on 3/8" x 4-1/4" strip of Whisper White cardstock and adhere to card.

DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #204: Halloween Night and Suite Seasons!

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Color My World" challenge.

With today's color combo, I knew I would be reaching for Stampin' Up!'s Halloween Night products. I need a few more cards for Halloween, especially for my grandsons.

Halloween Night Card

Apply Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape to a folded 11" x 4-1/4" Basic Black card base .
Wrap Halloween Night Bakers Twine around card front and tie in a bow
Stamp greeting (Suite Seasons stamp set) on 1-7/8" x 2-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Use Stampin' Write Markers (Perfect Plum, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie). Adhere to 2" x 2-3/8" piece of Perfect Plum cardstock. Then adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Attach Halloween Nights Enamel Dots. Place one on the exclamation point.

As this card is going to my grandsons, I thought it would be fun to bring a little spookiness to the inside of the card.

Ghost = Whisper White cardstock, Paisley Framelits, Pumpkin Pie mouth (from Spooky Fun stamp set)
Bat = Basic Black cardstock, Halloween Scene Edgelits
Witch = Old Olive cardstock, Halloween Scene Edgelits
Greeting = from Spooky Fun stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I think they're gonna like it! Now I just gotta get them in the mail.

DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge #202: Seasonal Decorative Masks & Cozy Critters!

It's time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we're having a "Product Spotlight" challenge.

This week we're featuring Stampin' Up's Decorative Masks. You're probably wondering where I used the mask...if you look closely, you'll see some striped embossing in the background. I used one of the new Seasonal Decorative Masks.

What’s a decorative mask?

Think stencils, but updated for today’s crafting. It’s so easy— just place the mask over cardstock, fabric, or other material and add a little color to create fun patterns and backgrounds! Here's some ways...

Spritz using ink, chalk, or glimmer sprays
Sponge using ink or paint
Trace using markers
Emboss using VersaMark ink

Plus...you can even emboss with the Big Shot. Think Texture Impressions Embossing Folders. I saw a video by Bibi Cameron showing several ways for using the stencils. I had to modify mine slightly. Here's the sandwich I used (from the bottom):

Decorative Mask Big Shot Embossing Sandwich

Big Shot Platform (*)
Cutting Pad
2 Silicone Craft Sheets
Thick Whisper White cardstock (4" x 5-1/4")
Decorative Mask
Cutting Pad
2 sheets of lightweight copy paper folded in half (if it's too tight, only use one sheet...experiment)

(*) NOTE: if you have the Multipurpose platform - experiment with tab#1 or no tabs)

Here's a closer look...cool, huh? Here's the rest of the details for the card...

Cozy Critter Red Nose Fox Card

Use diagonal striped Seasonal Decorative Mask to texture emboss 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White panel with Big Shot.
Apply Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape between the stripes (wrap ends around the back). Adhere panel to folded 4-1/4" x 11" Real Red card base.
On Whisper White scrap stamp fox image twice from Cozy Critters stamp set (Stampin' Rewards choice) with crumb Cake ink. Use fine tip end of Real Red marker to add fun details (ears, tail, scarf, toes). Die cut one with Layering Circle Framelits (2-3/8") and the second one...cut out head with Fox Builder punch. Adhere over fox image with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thread a silver Mini Jingle Bell onto 8" of Real Red Baker's Twine (from Candy Cane Lane Combo Pack). Staple (*) twine to just under the fox's head and tie a bow. Adhere completed circle to die cut Real Red scallop Layering Circle (2-1/2").
On Whisper White scrap stamp greeting (from Tin of Tags stamp set). Die cut with 1-7/8 Layering Circle. Adhere to die cut Real Red scallop Layering Circle (2")
Adhere both completed circles to card with Stampin' Dimensionals
And for the final touch...punch a Red Glimmer Paper small circle from the Sprinkles Punch and adhere to nose with Fine Tip Glue!

I just had to add the Red Glimmer nose. We can call him Rudolph the Red Nose Fox!

Bunch of Blossoms Bundle QC card!

Today I have a quick & cute (QC) share for you using the Bunch of Blossoms Bundle. This card was featured at one of my Stamp-a-Stack local classes and was a huge hit!

This card was stamped at a Shoebox Swap event I attended this summer. When I got to the table, the sample was gone, so I created by own version using the supplies at the table. At home I put the card together and added a greeting.

Speaking of greetings...this stamp set if full of a variety of five useful greetings in a fun script and print combo. A must-have for any stamp collector!

QC Bunch of Blossoms Bundle card details:

Stamp images from Bunch of Blossoms stamp set with black ink onto 4-1/4" x 3" Whisper White cardstock; 3 stems and two outline flower images (left & right flowers). Also stamp one outline flower image on piece of scrap.
Stamp coordinating flower images with Sweet Sugarplum ink. More "solid" image stamp off first, then less detailed flower image "full-strength".
Punch flower from scrap using Blossom Builder Punch and adhere to stamped panel with Stamping Dimensionals.
Adhere completed panel to 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" fold Sweet Sugarplum card base at an angle. Apply Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape.
Stamp greeting at die cut with with smallest Layering Ovals Framelit Dies. Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals
Attach 3 Rhinestone Jewels.
